Acro/Tumbling classes teaches students the floor portion of gymnastics and how to blend it seemlessly with dance. Walkovers, back handsprings, tucks and other aerial tricks are taught as the student is physically ready.

At Dance Atlantic, we teach not only ballet technique, but also the terminology and etiquette behind this unforgettable dance form. At each pointe class, dancers take part in the following activities: Barre exercises Center floor work Across-the-floor combinations As they master ballet techniques, dancers become better aware of their bodies. They develop advanced posture, style, and expression.

Hip hop is a high-energy, entertaining dance style that’s as much about culture and attitude as it is about technique and skill. And let’s be honest—hip hop dance is just plain fun. In our hip hop dance classes, students gain confidence and coordination while they learn skills that are completely unique to this thrilling dance method.

This is a high-energy class that focuses on isolations, kicks, & leaps and turns. Performance quality through proper jazz technique is emphasized. Dancers will be encouraged to use individual expression and develop their self-confidence. Ballet is required.

This structured class focuses on teaching tap technique while developing rhythm and timing. Dancers will be taught basic steps and vocabulary that will later be combined into more complex combinations or routines. They also learn how to create percussive sounds to the music’s rhythm.​ Ballet is required.

Ballet is a classical dance discipline that emphasizes flexibility, skeletal alignment, posture, strength, and artistry. During class dancers will learn proper ballet technique and basic dance principles necessary for all other dance forms. Ballet provides a core foundation for all dance styles. Thus, your child could use ballet as a springboard for jazz, contemporary, or hip hop. Or, he or she could continue in ballet to reach advanced performance levels. Lyrical is a form of ballet which emphasizes creative movement associated with the meaning or lyrics of the music.

These classes are geared toward our littlest of students. Children are encouraged to explore their imagination and creativity, all the while learning the fundamentals of dance terminology and technique. Everyone loves this class which is a combination of ballet, tap and tumbling.
