Open Tap

A tap technique class for all age and experience levels. Instructor will introduce tap steps, combinations, and vocabulary at an intermediate level with modifications for dancers to adjust to their own ability level through options for adding or removing sounds, turns, tricks, etc.

Open Ballet

A ballet technique class for all age and experience levels. Dancers will begin at the barre and continue through centre work. Instructor will introduce combinations, vocabulary, and ballet technique at an intermediate level with modifications for dancers to adjust to their own ability level. New dancers will begin to learn the basics while more advanced dancers will challenge themselves with increasing levels of intensity.

Choir

A mixed-age vocal group performs for local community events and participate in our winter performance and spring recital with more opportunities to come.

Junior Ballet Company

Ballet dancers ages 8-10 will perform for local community events and participate in our annual Nutcracker and Spring Ballet performances.

Ballet Company

Ballet dancers ages 11 & up will perform for local community events and participate in our annual Nutcracker and Spring Ballet performances.

Tumble Team

Tumblers ages 8 & up will perform with the Dance Troupe for local community events and participate in our annual tumbling meet with more opportunities to come.

Dance Troupe

Dancers ages 8 & up will perform jazz, contemporary, and/or hip hop pieces for local community events.

Level 4 Tumbling

A class for advanced tumbling students with increased strength and flexibility. Tumblers will gain confidence and tackle more challenging skills. This class is beneficial for students who wish to participate in high school cheer.

Level 3/4 Tap

A mixed age class for developing tap technique with a focus on increased precision and pace. Students will learn fundamental tap steps and terminology as well as new choreography while they grow musically and in their sense of rhythm.

Level 4 Jazz

Our most advanced jazz technique with a focus on performance quality and technique. Class will strengthen dancers interested in pursuing high school dance team.

Level 4 Hip Hop

Our most advanced class incorporating street dance and funk through more complex interpretations of popular movements and development of performance quality.

Level 4 Contemporary

Our most advanced class incorporating contemporary and modern dance genres. Dancers will express feeling through movement and musicality while further expanding their movement vocabulary. Students gain confidence in expressing their own style and artistry.

Variations

An add-on class for advanced ballet students to learn selected repertoire from classical, neoclassical, and contemporary ballets.

Pointe

An add-on class for advanced ballet students to continue building strength and technique in pointe shoes starting at the barre and continuing through centre work and turns.

Level 4 Ballet

A continuation of classical ballet training which focuses on technique and artistry. Dancers will focus on expression and exploration of different styles within classical ballet. Most female dancers will be en pointe and will be expected to take at least two ballet technique classes each week. Dancers will have the option of upper level ballet classes four nights each week, so there will be flexibility in the schedule. Dancers who do not wish to be en pointe have no required additional classes.

Level 2/3/4 Choir

A mixed-age vocal music class incorporating music theory and vocal performance technique. Performers will gain confidence using their voices in a variety of musical styles while also exploring fundamental concepts of music composition and music theory.

Level 2/3 Tumbling

A class for advancing tumbling skills with increased strength and flexibility. Tumblers will gain confidence with more challenging skills.

Level 3/4 Tap

A continuation of developing tap technique with a focus on increased precision and pace. Students continue to grow musically and through their sense of rhythm while becoming proficient at tap dance.

Level 2/3 Jazz

A more focused expansion of jazz technique with a focus on awareness of vocabulary and technique. Students continue to grow their musicality, strength, and coordination while gaining confidence in expressing their own style and artistry.

Level 3 Hip Hop

A time to continue exploration of rhythm and street dance styles through more complex interpretations of popular movements and developing performance quality.

Level 2/ 3 Contemporary

A preparatory class that develops the specific strength, coordination, and knowledge necessary for dancers to go en pointe. Dancers may or may not receive their invitation to be fitted for pointe shoes during the year they are enrolled in this class.

Level 2 Ballet

A continuation of classical ballet training focusing on technique and terminology. Dancers will continue to develop their expressiveness and musicality within a classical ballet class structure while developing the strength and coordination necessary for future pointe work.

Strength & Agility

Using an obstacle course and full body conditioning approach, this class provides a constructive outlet for boundless energy while establishing a foundation for future athletic pursuits.

A chance to develop fundamental tumbling skills in a high energy class. Tumblers will engage major muscles with a focus on strength, flexibility.

Level 1 Dance Fusion

A chance to explore rhythms and using our bodies as percussion instruments. Children are introduced to foundational tap steps while experiencing the joy of sound.

Dance Exploration

An energetic class for moving our bodies while exploring basic concepts of hip hop, contemporary, and jazz dance. Children will engage with fun music while developing musicality, strength, and coordination.

Bitty Ballet

A first experience with ballet terminology and technique. Children develop musicality, strength, and coordination along with basic body awareness.

Creative Movement

A developmentally appropriate introduction to the world of dance and tumbling. Children learn to engage with music, gain strength and coordination, and get familiar with the experience of a dance/tumbling class.
