Classes

Hip Hop IV-V

Typically for ages 12+ who have extensive training in dance and movement, and experience in hip hop. Enrollment into this class is only permitted with director/ teacher advice or recommendation. Tennis shoes are required for this class.

Contemporary &Lyrical IV-V

For intermediate to advanced dancers ages 11+ looking to use dance as an expressive outlet and to expand their dance language and explore innovative movement and choreography, students will also gain a sense of fluidity and grace. Ballet or lyrical shoes are required for this class.

Acro Arts Level 5+

Students should be able to execute front limbers and backbends without spot. Students will be working on back kickovers, front and back walkovers, limber variations, hand stand forward rolls, cartwheel variations, and round off variations. Leotards and dance shorts/ leggings are preferred for classwear. Placement class required.

Tap IV

For advanced dancers, ages 11+, with some experience in footwork related dance styles and extensive training in other styles, looking for an fast paced class focused on tap technique and skills. Tap shoes are required.

Jazz IV-V Technique

For dancers, ages 11+, with at least four years of extensive training in leaps, jumps, and turns. Students must be willing to work hard, challenge themselves, and work outside their comfort zones. Students will expand their knowledge, technical presentation and execution of leaps, jumps, and turns as well as jazz technique and style. Leotards, dance shorts, and jazz shoes are recommended to be worn in class.

Prepointe/ Pointe (12+ only)

For intermediate to advanced dancers, ages 12+, with moderate to extensive training in dance and ballet. Students must be willing to work hard, challenge themselves, and work outside their comfort zones. Students will train to work up to pointe shoes with permission from their teacher. Leotards, tights, and ballet shoes are required to be worn in class, pointe shoes once awarded with pointe certificate.

Ballet V

For advanced dancers, ages 13+, with moderate to extensive training in dance and ballet. Students must be willing to work hard, challenge themselves, and work outside their comfort zones.
