Encore Dance Wellington

This class is a training, conditioning class focusing on strength building, flexibility, and muscle memory for leaps, turns, jumps, and other technical skills. Form fitting dance wear and jazz shoes.

Acro skills includes tumbling, balancing, limbering, and partnering, based in flexibility, contortion and strength. Acro Dance is a beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Leotard and barefoot.

High Energy class! Will focus on body Isolations, quick footwork choreography and strength and control with breakdance floor work. Athletic wear and clean tennis shoes.

This upbeat, high energy class combines rhythm of basic tap steps, balance, and weight transfers to create fun dance combinations. Emphasis is placed on body control, sound clarity, and encouraging a love for the artform!

This upbeat class uses a variety of musical styles sure to boost confidence and personality! Emphasis is placed on leaps, turns, and jumps as well as high energy walks, footwork, kicks, and floorwork.

Class focuses on terminology, body alignment, and graceful movements. Barre, Center, and PBT exercises to gain strength, control, and muscle memory. Lyrical and/or contemporary dance choreography may be taught.

Classes may include and vary through the year based on level of interest: Ballet, Barre, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, and others TBA.

These dancers our our upper level dancers. Like the Rising Starz - they are SHOOTING to the top of our expectations for leadership in the studio, creating artistry with movement, and growing with more complex combinations in classes. Classes include progressive levels of: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Acro Dance.

These dancers are ready to rise to meet the a higher level of expectations. This age group is beginning to understand how to improve their technical skills through body mechanics, are improving quality of movement, and building confidence! Classes include progressive levels of: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Acro Dance.

Young elementary kiddos that have past organized class experience are ready for a class with more structure and can really GROW their passion for dance and movement! Classes include progressive levels of: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Acro Dance.

Classes include various levels of combination classes introducing children to dance class etiquette and foundations of ballet, jazz, and tap, as well as tumbling and hip hop (Varies by age.) This age is learning independence from their grown ups and are creating a love for dance and music!

AcroDance is the beautiful fusion of traditional dance and acrobatic movement. While performing, dancers should maintain an emotional connection to the music and audience through their movements. Acrobatic tricks are meant to blend seamlessly with the dance choreography so as to provide an extra level of excitement and flair to the performance.

These teen, upper level classes continue to build upon their solid foundation of dance concepts as they grow in performance and atristy. Classes include ballet, barre work, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip hop, acro, technique, contemporary, music theater.

Dancers age 7+ have a wide selection of classes they can choose from! We offer ballet/lyrical, jazz, tap, hip hop, acro, and technique/skills classes. We also study contemporary, improv, and music theater, dance styles through the year. Young dancers gain understanding of these styles, and they improve strength and technical ability through drills and training.

Our youngest dancers fall in love with music and movement through our combination classes! Young ones can also choose from Hip Hop and Tumbling/Acro to find the best fit!
