Our talented instructors can help you with this. We address this in class, but can go more in depth in private lessons.

To help the class progress together, we have certain times in the group classes when we all change partners. This is disrespectful and indicates that you're rejecting your leader's contribution to the partnership.

The studio currently offers group classes 5 nights a week, dances every Friday night, Teen classes, and much more! Dancing is a fun and affordable hobby which benefits students on many levels.

Melanie is currently beginning her fourth year teaching Cotillion dance classes and she taught classes at LSU for 6 years. In addition to teaching dance steps, she focuses on team work, tolerance, courtesy, and basic social skills.

Ric and Melanie have been increasing the range of their student base by offering programs for teen dancers. In addition to teaching dance steps, she focuses on team work, tolerance, courtesy, and basic social skills. They incorporate these principles in the Teen program offered at the studio.

The group classes offered nightly are very affordable and offer a great social activity to students of all ages. Whether you are looking to perform and compete, dance for your wedding, or just take up a fun new hobby – we’ve got a place for you!

Ric Seeling Dance Studio is Baton Rouge's premier dance studio featuring top-of-the-line instruction in Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Hustle, and Country! We offer GROUP and PRIVATE lessons to suit any level... from novice to "superstar advanced".

We have workshops every Friday night before the dances and we focus on one dance for a 50-minute lesson. All workshops are beginner level and open to all.

Plus, you can join us every FRIDAY night for a SPECIALTY DANCE WORKSHOP from 6:30PM - 7:30PM, and a Studio Dance Party from 7:30PM - 9:30PM, complete with an excellent DJ!

We also have dances every Friday night from 7:30pn to 9:30pm where we play all types of music.
