Any color leotard and hot shorts. Please do not wear tights and come barefoot. We ask that you do not wear two pieces that show their stomachs. Hair should be pulled back in a ponytail or bun.

The first semester of dance is focused on learning technique and steps. The second semester is when the recital dances are taught. If your child was not participating in the recital, he or she would feel left out during class.

Boys wear the same dress listed in the line above with black jazz shoes instead.

Girls wear black leotard or Soar's teal leotard with tan tights and either hot shorts or leggings. Girls use tan jazz shoes. Hair should be pulled back.

Boys wear a plain white shirt and either black comfortable pants or shorts. They use the same shoes as the girls except they use black ballet and jazz shoes.

Tumbling 1 is for beginner tumblers 5-8 years old. Student are eligible for this 45-minute class when they turn 5. Students will learn handstands, cartwheels, round offs, front & back walkovers, and other acro skills.

Tumbling Tots is for our 2-4 year old students. This is a 30-minute class where the students learn the basics such as front rolls, cartwheels, and backbends.

Hip Hop 3 is for 14-18 year olds and is 45 minutes long. This class is designed to challenge our older hip hop students. Timing, style, and sharpness are focused on.

Hip Hop 2 is for 11-13 year olds and is also 45 minutes long. This class begins with stretching and conditioning. The students learn various hip hop styles like pop 'n' lock and breaking. They regularly learn new combos.

Hip Hop 1 is for 8-10 year olds and is 45 minutes long. It focuses on style, sharpness, and dancing to different tempos. There is also a stretch and conditioning component to this class.

Hip Hop Bop is for 5-7 year olds and is 30 minutes long. Students learn to dance on count and to also develop their own sense of style while learning the most up-to-date hip hop moves.

This is a recreational ballet, tap, and jazz class that is 1 hour andn 15 minutes. This is great for beginner and intermediate dancers that want to grow in their dance abiity. They also perform 3 recital dances.

This class teaches ballet, tap, and jazz and is 1 hour and 15 minutes long. Students continue to learn more intricate terminology and skills. The pace of the class moves quicker. These students will also perform 3 recital dances.

This class teaches ballet, tap, and jazz and is 1 hour and 15 minutes long. Students work on gaining flexibility, barre work, combinations, and style. These students will perform 3 recital numbers. There are two available classes for Beginners.

This ballet and tap class is 45 minutes. It focuses on beginning ballet and tap terminology such as pliés, tendu, chassé, arabesque, shuffle, and flap. Students learn how to perform choreography as a group. This year we will have two classes of this age group!
