Black or white color T-shirt, shorts, black dance pants or sweatpants, black leather ballet shoes or black jazz shoes. NO BARE LEGS and LONG HAIR MUST BE SECURELY TIED UP – Ponytails are allowed. Jazz Sneakers are not allowed for the recital. No Bare Midriffs.

Any primarily solid color leotard and footless or transitional tights. Jazz pants or dance skirts are allowed. Black tights or dance pants, black or white solid color T-shirt. This class is intended for those dancers who have shown adequate physical strength, accurate technique, and necessary mental awareness to go En pointe’. Students will learn and practice pointe’ at the barre with heavy emphasis on correct foot and body alignment and the development of foot and ankle strength. A slow and careful approach is used to ensure a safe and solid pointe foundation. These classes are a continuation of Ballet 5

Dancers who already have a thorough knowledge of elementary ballet, tap & jazz. Dancers will have a strong foundation and begin to explore more advanced movements and concepts. Proper technique is emphasized through a full classes and dancers begin to learn musicality, projection/performance quality and artistic expression. This class is a continuation of Level 4.

The Goals of this class are similar to Ballet 2, but at a slightly higher level. Good technical habits while building strength, flexibility, and overall body coordination. Higher level movement, combinations, & technical skills are introduced.

The class begins to transition young dancers into full structure of a standard ballet, tap and Jazz class with increased exercises and vocabulary. The focus of this class is to create good technical habits while building strength & flexibility. The class will prepare dancers for more advance movement and using the skills they learned in Ballet 1.

Dancers begin to move through the rudimentary structure of a standard ballet, tap and Jazz classes, including barre, center and across the floor practice, while greatly expanding their knowledge of movement and terminology. The goal for this class is to solidify basic movements and develop greater awareness of technical concepts.

An age specific hour and half class containing ballet, tap and jazz. Using our Primary Ballet/tap/Jazz graded curriculum. The students must have mastered basic plie, tendu, grand battement, shuffle series from our Twinkle Star program. The purpose of the class is to continue learning these three styles of dance. Dancers will also learn basic steps and terminology.

An age specific 60-minute class containing ballet, tap and jazz/creative movement. The purpose of the class is to introduce young dancers to the three styles of dance and inspire movement and creativity within a positive environment. Dancers will also learn basic steps and terminology in all three styles. For example, all dancers will learn what a “Tendu” is and how to demonstrate one.

An age specific 45 minute class containing ballet and tap. The purpose of the class is to train young dancers in a graded curriculum that inspires movement and creativity within a positive environment. Dancers will also learn basic steps and terminology.

A thirty-minute introductory dance class containing ballet, tap and creative movement. Young dancers will learn the basic steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement in a positive environment. Engaging music is used to get these little ones inspired to dance.

Our MINI company program is designed for little dancers who love to perform, have fun, and improve their technique, skills, and creativity. Through HAPC, dancers will improve teamwork skills, develop sportsmanship, and have the opportunity to perform in the community and competition.

Our JUNIOR company program is designed for any level dancer who loves to perform. This program focuses on developing technique and abilities through exposure to a variety of people, places and experiences. Through HAPC, dancers will improve teamwork skills, develop sportsmanship, and have the opportunity to perform in the community and competition.

Our TEEN company program is designed for our intermediate to advanced level dancers. This program focuses on developing technique and abilities through exposure and improving teamwork skills and developing sportsmanship. Dancers are encouraged to advance their individual abilities and push their physical performance limits.

Our Senior Company program is designed for our intermediate to advanced level dancers. This program focuses on developing technique and abilities through exposure and improving teamwork skills and developing sportsmanship. Dancers are encouraged to advance their individual abilities and push their physical performance limits.

Hamilton Academy Performance Company’s program is perfect for dancers, ages 4 & up, who are passionate about and committed to the growth in their dance training. Commitment level for this program will include a weekly company class, technique classes, and a weekly mandatory hour ballet class.
