Founded in 2004 by Missy Crain, a former principal dancer and passionate educator, the studio operates from Missy Crain Dance Studios, which was established in 1984 and has expanded to four locations across the region. Missy Crain Dance Studios offers diverse training in Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Tap for students of various ages and skill levels, fostering a deep appreciation for the arts among young people and the wider community. The pre-professional company, Louisiana Delta Ballet, Inc., comprises approximately 85 dancers and is renowned for its full-scale productions, many choreographed by Crain herself, including beloved shows like "Cinderella" and "The Nutcracker." Serving a sixteen-parish area of North Louisiana, the organization also hosts an intensive summer workshop in collaboration with the City of Monroe. This renowned program attracts esteemed dance masters such as Will Thomas, David Webb, Emily Webb, Christian Vincent, Thom Clower, Jason Fowler, DJ Guthrie, Chris Jarosz, and Jock Soto, and serves as the official audition site for Louisiana Delta Ballet.
