Adults’ Division

Dance classes for adults with a class length of 1 hour. Offers single class pricing and options for 1, 2, 3, or 4 classes per week.

Levels 5, 6, 7 & 8
$35.00

Advanced dance classes for students in Levels 5, 6, 7, and 8, requiring a placement audition. Classes are 1 ½ hours long with pricing for single classes and multiple weekly attendances.

Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-4
$30.00

Classes suitable for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and students in Grades 1 through 4. Each class is 1 hour long with various pricing options for single classes or weekly attendance.

Pre-School Ballet 3s & 4s

Ballet class designed for 3 and 4 year olds with a class length of 45 minutes. Options include single class, 1, 2, 3, or 4 classes per week.

High School students with limited dance training

High School students with limited dance training: Please consider taking one of the adult class offerings before being placed in a leveled class with trained dancers. The adult class teacher can advise you on future placement.

Pointe (Level V-VIII)

Pointe (Level V-VIII): Placement into a pointe class is strictly at the discretion of the instructors and directors and is only considered at or above level V. At this time, it will be determined if the dancer has achieved the appropriate strength, technique, and dedication to endure the demands of properly and safely dancing on pointe.

Level V-VIII

Level V-VIII: Require audition for placement at the sole direction of the Instructors/Directors. Please call 225-767-5814 to schedule a placement class.

Levels I-IV

Levels I-IV: Assigned by grade in school or grade just completed. Placement into a pointe class is strictly at the discretion of the instructors and directors.

Kindergarten Ballet

Kindergarten Ballet: Must be actively enrolled in or having just completed Kindergarten in school. Placement into a pointe class is strictly at the discretion of the instructors and directors.

Preschool Ballet

Preschool Ballet: Ages 3-5 and fully potty trained. Placement into a pointe class is strictly at the discretion of the instructors and directors.

Adult Intermediate

Some previous experience recommended. Dancers should be familiar with the positions of the body and feet and general movement requirements. This one-hour class progresses through all elements of a traditional ballet class but at a more “adult pace”.

Adult +

This class is held on Wednesday mornings and is slightly more advanced than Adult Basic, with more progressions across the floor and gentle jumps.

Adult Basic Ballet

No experience in dance is needed for Wednesday night’s Basic Ballet. This class is designed for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of ballet.
