Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre is a form of dramatic performance combining acting and dancing to tell a story. We tend to call these productions musicals based on their preeminent venue. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll cheer, you’ll sing. It’s an artistic experience unlike any other.

Acro Dance

Acro Dance is an art form that incorporates the fluid movements of dance with the exciting tricks of acrobatics. This was the original art form that inspired our love for performing arts. At D&G, we’ve always incorporated acro in our choreography; this was the foundation that made us who we are today. Students will develop specific strength, flexibility and technique, to learn how to execute acrobatic tricks, to then be used in dance choreography. The training students receive in their acro dance classes helps to reinforce the technique in all other dance genres. Adding acro dance is next-level training that will develop a specific skill set, and creates well-rounded and versatile dancers.

Acro/Tumbling

Acro/Tumbling focuses on flexibility, muscle control, balance, tumbling technique, and strength. Students will begin with conditioning exercises to prepare for basic stunts such as forward rolls, cartwheels, and beginner balances. More advanced students will continue to add to their repertoire with more advanced tumbling, balances, side aerials, front aerials, Back handsprings, back tucks, and partner lifts/stunts.

Hip Hop
