Power Yoga Intermediate/Advanced

A powerful and energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next connecting their breath with movement .This class has a physical focus, working on flexibility, stamin, and endurance. Intermediate to advanced students welcome.

Yogalates

This class offers a challenging full-body workout. A flowing mat class with music combined with movement on the ladder and trapeze bar work for the large and small muscle groups up the back and front of the body. The exercise sequences tone the arms, legs, hips, back, abs, and glutes with the goal of lengthening and strengthening the muscle tissue. Yoga postures accompany the classic Pilates warmup to stretch and invigorate the body and spirit.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

This class begins with gentle stretches and mindful breathing exercises and progresses to an active yet accessible practice where movements are connected to “flow“ together using the breath. Modifications are offered to make the class suitable for all levels. No two classes are alike, so leave behind your expectations of what yoga should look like and have fun! Increased flexibility is a goal not a requirement. Class ends with deep relaxation, or savasana, To leave you feeling like your best self, in body and mind.

Corealign

Developed by physical therapist Jonathan Hoffman, the CoreAlign is incredibly effective in improving posture, gait, balance and functional movement. It is also used in athletic training to increase strength, power and endurance. The innovative base includes two tracks and two independently moving carts. We offer these classes as a private or duet

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is the basis and foundation for all pilates exercises. The development began around 1918. This group of exercises, again, work to stabilize and strengthen the core of the body. Circles, weights, bands and barrels are incorporated to further challenge the individual.

Jump Board/Reformer Pilates

This is an aerobic workout using the Pilates reformer/jump board with weights, bands and circles. We will also incorporate reformer movements into this crazy fun class.

Chair Pilates

The Pilates Chair is an under recognized piece of equipment. A beginner chair class is excellent for an individual who is seeking to develop better balance while standing, posture while seated and control of the core in executing movements. Moving into intermediate and advanced levels weights, circles and resistance bands can be included. This is a must try class!!!

Tower Pilates

Tower Pilates is the use of the reformer in its mat mode. The use of springs, push through bar, roll back bar are all utilized in the classes. These classes can be adapted to most all levels of participants including a beginner level.

Integrative Pilates

Integrative Pilates incorporates multiple pieces of apparatus into your workout. These include reformer, tower, chair, barrels, circles and weights. Beginner level, again works to develop the central core developing stability and strength. Moving into intermediate and advanced levels the goals and challenges mirror classical.

Intermediate Classical Reformer

This is a faster moving intermittent reformer or Tower Pilates class.

Classical Reformer

Classical reformer is a set of exercises structured to work the entire body in a methodical format working solely on the reformer. Beginner level teaches you the basics of the movements working to stabilize the central core of the body. As you progress and strengthen your core more challenging movements are added in, to include more upper body work, body weight exercises, standing on the reformer and inversions. Advanced work moves into a more rapid pace of movement challenging the stamina of the body.
