My Dance Studio caters to both serious dancers prioritizing intensive technique and recreational dancers seeking to explore movement. Specialized 'Dance Tracks' for 6th-12th graders, including a 'Serious Dancer Track' and a 'Recreational Dancer Track,' provide tailored experiences. Classes

Ally began dancing at My Dance Studio at the age of 8. She took classes in ballet, tap, and jazz for ten years until graduating from high school. Ally went on to graduate from Shepherd University with a bachelors in Elementary Education.

contemporary and hip hop

Her favorite styles to choreograph are contemporary and hip hop, they are also her favorite styles to dance. She has been a dance instructor since she was fourteen and loves that she gets to share her passion for dancing with the students she teaches.

Ballet, Contemporary Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Street Jazz, and Hip-Hop

Sarah has been dancing 12 years and spent a year as a trainee with the Joffrey Ballet School. Her training has included Ballet, Contemporary Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Street Jazz, and Hip-Hop. She’s been teaching for 6 years and she loves sharing her passion with students. Teaching dance is one of the most rewarding parts of her dance journey.

Jillian began dancing at My Dance Studio at the age of 8 taking classes in ballet, tap, jazz, acro and lyrical. She studied dance at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. During her time there, she was cast as a dancer in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Phantom of the Opera, along with annual dance recitals and performances.

She participated in a time-release school program for a year that allowed her to train five days a week in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. During her early years, she also participated in Cecchetti ballet conferences and dance competitions. Then, during college, she continued dancing while studying Early Childhood Education. Upon graduation Tracey taught at a local studio in the Baltimore area.

Offered once the dancer has become ready to take on an hour of a particular discipline. Tap classes focus on rhythmic footwork and musicality.

Acrobatics

Offered to 5 & 6 year olds enrolled in Adv. Beg. learning basic skills such as forward rolls, cartwheels, bridges, etc. This class builds strength and coordination.

Beginners and Advanced Beginners

Combination classes involving creative movement, pre-ballet & tap. These classes focus on foundational elements of dance, preparing young dancers for more advanced studies.
