Dance and Performing Arts Program

The performing arts classes promote cognitive, artistic and intellectual development through performance. Instruction in music appreciation, literary expression, theme construction, set/costume design and make-up provides them an opportunity to explore aspects other than actual performance. Our foundation provides a professional, family oriented environment; our focus is on technique and performance quality with a strong yet artistic foundation.

Kids Dance Classes

Lawrence Antwine is a choreographer for kids at Starlite Dance Academy's After school Program. He loves working with the kids and has a strong passion to stay in his community.

Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Tap

Sharmaine Antwine studied Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Tap under the direction of Pamela Moore, Fran Peters, Marilyn Byers, Barbara Marks, and Linda Darr. She has been dancing and teaching for over 30 years.

Dancing

Included: Transportation, Snack, Homework Assistance, Acting, Singing, and Dancing. Our Aftercare program includes transportation from school, homework assistance, snack, and performing arts classes.
