Jeannie Zimbalatti's School of Dance

A performance-based ensemble, ages 5-18, by invitation or audition only. These classes will further increase jazz, ballet & contemporary vocabulary and increased complexity of movement and choreography. Students eligible for these advanced classes also require a strong ballet foundation and take ballet classes in addition to the jazz classes. The instruction will focus on leaps, turns and progressions. Classes will expand technique and delve into multiple styles of jazz including but not limited to theatrical, contemporary/lyrical, fusion, and hip hop. Students are placed according to demonstrated ability at director’s discretion .

Lyrical dance blends ballet and jazz into an expressive style that focuses on musicality and emotion. Dancers build strong technique through ballet-based warm-ups, while exploring movement, interpretation, and personal style.

This class introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of ballet in a structured and supportive environment. Students will learn basic positions, proper posture, and simple movement combinations, all while developing strength, flexibility, coordination, and focus. Ballet provides a strong technical foundation for all styles of dance.

Tap is a rhythmic dance style where dancers create sounds with their feet. This fun-filled class introduces young dancers to basic tap steps and creative movement. As they grow, they'll build coordination, clarity, and rhythm through more complex steps and styles.

A joyful and inclusive dance class designed to celebrate every child's unique abilities! This class encourages movement, creativity, and self-expression in a fun, supportive environment. With upbeat music, engaging activities, and lots of encouragement, dancers build confidence, coordination, and friendships—no experience needed, just a love for music and movement!

Hip Hop is a high-energy, street-style dance set to popular music. Dancers build rhythm, coordination, and learn fun moves they can use anywhere—from parties to school dances. No experience needed!

A high-energy jazz class that blends the strength, flexibility and control. Dancers build coordination, learn technique and vocabulary, and have fun moving to age-appropriate music. As they grow, focus shifts to musicality, discipline, and movement quality.

A fun, creative class for preschoolers (ages 2.5-5) that builds coordination, musicality, and focus. Kids explore dance, music, and basic tumbling using props and imaginative activities—all while learning teamwork and classroom skills.
