SR Ensemble
Ensemble classes are exclusively for dancers who have received personalized invitations to join the Creative Arts Repertoire Ensemble. Ensemble members are expected to enroll in a minimum of two Technique Classes and one Pointe Class or Guys Class (Ensemble Classes count as a Technique Class) per 10 week session. You also have the option to register for extra technique or partnering classes. As an Ensemble member, you are responsible for the cost of two technique classes and one Pointe Class. You do have to pay tuition for partnering classes, but additional technique classes are free.

Young Guys
Young guys 5+ class is free of charge until they are ready to move to the next level. Boys learn basic vocabulary and drills to get their body ready for the powerful exercises boys will have to do in a regular ballet class. Our young guys and older guys will be taught by male teachers. Their teacher will let the student know when they are ready to move up to the next level.
Pre-Ballet
Explore creative dance and movement with music, fun props, and of course imagination. This class will help students build motor skills, encourage them to follow directions, practice cooperation and share with others. We will introduce basic stretches, jumps and turns and have fun while expressing ourselves through dance.
JR Ensemble
Ensemble classes are exclusively for dancers who have received personalized invitations to join the Creative Arts Repertoire Ensemble. Beginning Pointe
Beginning Pointe is geared towards dancers who have just received pointe shoes. It starts with basic skills like how to sew ribbons and elastics, how to properly tie ribbons, how to be responsible while taking care of the shoes. Students focus on how to rise or “roll up” and down safely in pointe shoes. The emphasis is on proper foot and ankle alignment and strengthening at the barre. We continue to utilize the 5 foundations in this level and students may remain in this class for at least one full year.
Ballet 3
Barre and center work as well as flexibility continues to develop here. Each dancer will progress to the next level when they are ready and able to memorize vocabulary terms and sequences. They will grow in their confidence and strength as they gain the ability to perform steps on their own.
Variations 2
In this advanced pointe class we learn original choreography from well-known ballets. Students will be able to dance one variation full out by the end of the session. This is an opportunity to gain more stamina while also learning choreography quickly and applying individual corrections.
Lyrical/Contemporary
This class is a fusion style technique class incorporating modern, lyrical and contemporary dance. The dancers will learn basic floor work and spinal articulations. After traveling across the floor, they will work on an expressive movement phrase that builds from week to week. We will change combinations during the second session. In the third session, the dancers will focus more on improvisation and their student choreography for the cabaret performance.
Pilates Zoom
CARE Ballet offers 2 virtual Pilates classes conducted through Zoom. Adult Pilates classes are conveniently structured around a punch card system.
