Directed by Chloé Gray, the studio cultivates an inclusive and supportive environment, fostering artistic freedom, compassion, and empowerment for dancers of all ages and backgrounds. The school offers a diverse curriculum designed to build technique and confidence, with classes spanning beginner to advanced levels in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theater, and Tap. Beyond recreational learning, Fun Girl Dance Company & School emphasizes community and performance. The Performance Company, established to foster a spirit of competition and presentation, holds annual auditions and requires technique classes and Saturday practices. The professional company is recognized as a dynamic force in the contemporary dance scene, celebrated for its bold, innovative, and queer-centric performances that amplify diverse voices and celebrate individuality. Their artistic vision is rooted in creating meaningful, transformative dance that conveys vibrancy, strength, and emotion. Fun Girl Dance Company has produced numerous seasons of original works and five dance films, reaching a global audience. They are also the founders of the Ypsi Dance Swap, a local festival promoting collaboration within the dance community, and have provided professional opportunities for 25 dancers, supporting emerging artists in queer and contemporary dance.
