With over 40 years of experience, this studio is dedicated to fostering a positive and encouraging environment where every student feels valued. We offer expert, proven technical instruction in a variety of age-appropriate dance techniques and choreography for dancers from Preschool through High School, divided by age to maximize confidence and self-esteem. Our curriculum emphasizes dance technique, teamwork, confidence-building, and personal improvement in a low-stress, less-pressure learning atmosphere where doing your best is more important than being the best. Students have the opportunity to experience the spotlight through affordable dance competitions like Together We Dance and Nationals, building confidence and stage presence in both solo and team routines. Just For Kix also provides unique and budget-friendly custom costumes designed by an in-house team. Beyond weekly classes, Just For Kix enriches the year with exciting dance events, including winter and spring shows, summer camps, performance tours, and workshops. Key dance styles offered include Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Tap, and the dynamic Pom dance. Jessica has been teaching yoga in the Brainerd Lakes area since 2015. Sharing fun and different ways to stretch and strengthen comes natural to her as a former Just For Kix instructor and Brainerd Kixter. In the Intro to Yoga class you will learn some basic techniques and terminology, while working on linking breath to movement.
