About Markey Studio

Markey Studio, located in Saint Paul, Minnesota and established in 2024, is a vibrant hub for dance education designed to ignite a lifelong love of dance. We offer a diverse range of classes for all ages, from tots to adults, fostering a welcoming environment where students can explore their passion for movement. Our curriculum thoughtfully includes foundational disciplines like Ballet and Tap, alongside energetic styles such as Jazz and Hip Hop. For our younger dancers, classes focus on building essential movement, musicality, and listening skills. More experienced students can delve deeper into technique with our Juniors, Rockers, and Seniors programs, with teacher placement ensuring the best fit. While adult classes offer opportunities for performance, participation is optional, providing a relaxed yet enriching experience. Markey Studio is led by owner and teacher Kristin Edwards, who brings her extensive experience, including a B.S. in Kinesiology and Pilates certification, to inspire students. She has been a dedicated student since the age of six, building upon a rich history. We are also thrilled to have the incredible talent of Daniella (Dani), who infuses classes with joy and offers amazing tap combinations for all ages. Alexa A and Noelle are also valued members of our dedicated teaching staff. Markey Studio is committed to instilling pride and confidence in each dancer, encouraging them to grow and progress.
