About Grenada School of Performing Arts

Grenada School of Performing Arts (GSPA), located in Grenada, Mississippi, has been a cornerstone of dance and performing arts education since its founding in 2002. Under the passionate guidance of owner Pam Hall, who has been teaching dance since 1969, GSPA is dedicated to fostering a love for movement and providing excellence in the arts. The studio offers a comprehensive curriculum catering to students of all levels, from recreational dancers seeking enjoyment to those aspiring to professional careers. Their diverse class offerings encompass a wide range of artistic expression, including ballet, contemporary, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. Beyond dance, GSPA also provides instruction in gymnastics, tumbling, and cheernastics. With a commitment to personalized attention, small class sizes ensure instructors can provide individual focus to each student. GSPA nurtures both recreational and competitive dancers, with opportunities for solo and group lessons. The studio features a prestigious Prestige Dance Company for advanced training and performance. Instructors like Haley Eifling contribute to nurturing young dancers' expressive abilities. Each season culminates in a memorable spring recital, where recreational groups showcase their progress with distinct routines. GSPA's sister location in Oxford, Mississippi, further extends its reach in providing quality performing arts education across the region.

Recreational Dance Classes

Our recreational dance classes are centered around ensuring your child has fun expressing themselves through the art of dance. Our recreational classes are generally smaller in size to ensure that your child gets the personal instruction and attention they deserve. Children in our recreational classes will learn ballet, lyrical, and tap or jazz technique (depending on their age). While learning new skills, they will also form lasting friendships with peers in their smaller classes. Each recreational group will learn and perfect two routines to perform at the spring recital.
