Convergence Body & Dance

All styles – Group Classes do not require a partner but do require pre registration if you are taking the class solo as we do lead/follow balance classes. Rotating partners in class is not required. We offer instruction in all ballroom styles. We can help you narrow down your choices so that you can choose what appeals to you and how you wish to dance. From high energy to dynamic slow dancing at the local bar or friend's wedding, we are here to partner with you to make sure you look good on the dance floor.

Convergence Dance and Body Center has been teaching basic through advanced Argentine Tango lessons in St. Louis for more than 25 years. Our beginning program is divided into three sections so you can fully develop the basics of how to get in and out of each move in multiple ways.

In private lessons we can explore in more detail, at your natural pace, the finer points of all of the Latin dances and coach you from basics to a professional level.

For the past two decades, Convergence Dance and Body Center has been teaching Salsa and Latin dance lessons and helping to develop some of the best salsa dancers in St. Louis area.

Matias is a dancer from tango’s new generation with 20 years of experience dancing, performing, and teaching. He is recognized for dancing professionally in both roles. In 2012, he reached the semifinals as the first man to compete in the world championship of tango dancing as a follower.
