Children's Ballet of the Ozarks

Pas De Deux class for dancers by invitation only, focusing on the art of partnering in classical ballet.

These classes are specifically designed for children 8 years of age and younger. The focus is on the pre-stages of ballet as well as stressing movement, rhythm, and creativity. The primary purpose of this program is not only to begin proper training, but moreover to develop a love for the movement of dance itself.

CBO's Companies are designed as a fast paced program, training dancers to reach their highest potential in all areas of performances. Students learn to emphasize accurate technical skills. Through our cutting edge choreography and exciting activities, children learn the value of teamwork and discipline.

Jazz, lyrical, and tap dance is not only an exciting and entertaining form of dance, but a healthy one as well. We offer classes to train dancers and provide additional opportunities for students to perform.

Ballet is the very foundation of all forms of dance. At CBO, we believe in the finest technical training for students, as well as the importance of the performing experience. Ballet classes are divided by age, level, and follow a progressive syllabus. Consideration is given to each student concerning their interests, goals and specific talents. We also offer adult ballet classes!

Pre-Pointe and Pointe level 1 class, placement required. Students must be at least 12 years of age, pass a pointe readiness exam and take at least 2 technique classes a month to go on pointe.

Ballet level 3 class, placement required. This class is for advanced dancers.

Ballet 1 class for dancers aged 9 and above, building upon foundational ballet techniques and introducing more complex steps and choreography.

Kids Beginning Jazz class for ages 6 and up, introducing the energetic and rhythmic movements characteristic of jazz dance.

Kids Tap class for ages 6 and up, focusing on developing rhythm, coordination, and percussive footwork through tap dance techniques.

Superhero Training class specifically for boys aged 5-10, encouraging strength, coordination, and an active imagination through fun, themed activities.

Primary Ballet class for children aged 6-8, focusing on developing fundamental ballet techniques and artistic expression in a supportive environment.

Ballet 3 class for dancers placed by the instructor, focusing on advanced intermediate ballet techniques, stamina, and performance.

Ballet 2 class for dancers placed by the instructor, focusing on intermediate ballet techniques, strength, and artistry.

Pre-Primary Ballet and Tap class for children aged 4-6 years.

Primary Ballet class designed for students aged 6-8 years.

Primary Tap class suitable for children aged 6 and above.

Primary Jazz class available for students aged 6 and above.

Contemporary 1 class for ages 9 and above, introducing the principles of contemporary dance, focusing on fluidity, expression, and dynamic movement.

Creative Ballet Mini and Me class for ages 2-4. Parents are welcome to join in the fun and experience ballet with their little ones.

Pre-Primary Ballet and Tap class designed for young dancers aged 4-6, introducing them to the foundational steps of both ballet and tap.

Jazz class for ages 10 and up, exploring dynamic and expressive jazz choreography with a focus on musicality and performance quality.

Creative Ballet Mini and Me class for ages 2-4. Parents are welcome to join.

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) class, a unique training system designed to enhance students' understanding of muscle memory and alignment in ballet.

Tap class for ages 10 and up, developing rhythmic precision, clarity of sound, and advanced tap techniques.

Contemporary 2 class for dancers placed by the instructor, exploring advanced contemporary movement, improvisation, and choreographic interpretation.

Ballet 4 class for dancers placed by the instructor, focusing on advanced ballet techniques, pointe work, and demanding choreography.

Ballet level 2 class, placement required. This class is for intermediate to advanced dancers.

Ballet level 1 class for students aged 8 and above.

Jazz and Contemporary dance class for students aged 10 and above. This class combines two dynamic dance styles.
