By Grace Performance Studio, established in 2003 in Clinton, Missouri, has been a cornerstone of dance education for over two decades. Dedicated to nurturing talent across various age groups, the studio offers a comprehensive curriculum with a strong emphasis on performance and competitive opportunities. Led by directors Vanessa Diaz and Jess LaRue, By Grace provides specialized training through programs like the Apprentice Program, designed for aspiring dancers aged 9 and up aiming for professional careers. This program includes Junior and Senior Apprentices, and Interns gaining valuable teaching experience. The studio fosters a competitive spirit with its Performance Team, which participates in annual competitions such as Dance Out Dance Competition, Sheer Elite International Dance Competition, and Edge Nationals. Performance Team members engage in rigorous training, including weekly practices, stretch & strength, leaps & turns classes, ballet technique, and at least one other ballet class, alongside tap, jazz, and other genres relevant to their routines. By Grace also offers specialized Pre-Pointe/Pointe Ballet Classes, focusing on the precise preparation and technique for pointe work. For students involved in tumbling, the M.A.T.S. Team competes in Mid-America Tumbling Society competitions and performs in end-of-year recitals. A strong foundation is key, with students in the Apprentice Program and Performance Team required to be enrolled in tap, jazz, and ballet, while pointe students need significant ballet background and demonstrated strength. By Grace invites new students to join for upcoming Fall 2025 classes, with registration opening soon. The studio utilizes Weebly and offers a parent portal for convenient access to information, promising a dynamic and enriching experience for all aspiring dancers.
