This creative movement class is for moms and their little ones, ages 18 months to 2 years.

The 4 year old classes are Creative Movement and Tap & Tumble, taught in groups no larger that 8, lasting 45 minutes.

Pre-school creative movement dance classes help develop the child’s body awareness, balance, and vocabulary, as well as increase motor skills and improve attention span, and most importantly, enhance their self-esteem. The 2/3 year old classes are Creative Movement, taught in groups no larger than 6, lasting 30 minutes.

Acro Dance is a large part of performing arts! We'll get you to the level that you need to be. Acro Dance classes are offered at beginning/intermediate and advanced levels. Students will learn acro and dance skills in a safe, careful class with skills that build on one another.

Placement in these classes is based on experience and ability. Ballet class is required.

Ballet dancing is among our most popular services. It takes many hours of hard work in order to master this skill. Offered to groups of ages 5 to 6 and 7 & up, Columbia Dance Academy Ballet & Tap classes are taught as a combo class. Class sizes are limited to 12 – 14 students.

Hip Hop Dance Classes Hip Hop has always been one of the most influential forms of dance. At Columbia Dance Academy, we ensure we’re teaching the latest trends in hip hop dance and continuing to build on each student’s skill sets and confidence as a dancer.

Musical theatre explores the development of concentration of mind and body. Our instructors help students develop skills for combining dialogue, song, and dance to tell a story, while also giving them skills for developing their abilities to improve concentration of mind and body. We introduce kids ages 10 & up to the application of dance to musical theatre.
