Heart of America Dance Centre (HADC), nestled in the heart of Lee's Summit, Missouri, offers a distinguished training ground for aspiring dancers in an expansive 11,000 square foot, 1920s-era building. Under the artistic direction of Cynthia Monaco, a former soloist with the Kansas City Ballet and founder of the Heart of America Youth Ballet, HADC provides a comprehensive dance education for all ages and skill levels. Our vibrant facility features five dedicated studios, complemented by unique amenities including "220 Dance Central," the studio's own dance shop, a parent's retreat area, a children's play area, and a dedicated break area for dancers. Instructors like Christina Rellergert, Lisa Anderson, Melissa Morgan, and Lindsay Weaver bring a wealth of experience from professional dance, competitive teams, and collegiate programs. HADC fosters excellence, confidence, and growth through a diverse curriculum encompassing Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Contemporary, and Acrobatics, often featuring specialized "Combo" classes for younger or newer dancers. Students can train and perform, with many instructors having been former students or members of the competitive dance team, HADC ~ The Team.
