Classes
Essentrics®
This low-impact, equipment-free workout to music will activate all your muscles, free your joints, and increase mobility. Dynamic and easy to follow —the full body Essentrics® technique works through your muscle chains in order to liberate, empower and relieve them from tension in the process– making you feel more energetic. Essentrics® draws on the flowing movements of tai chi which create health and balance, the strengthening theories behind ballet which create long, lean, flexible muscles and the healing principles of physiotherapy which create a pain-free body. Perfect for injury recovery and prevention, pain relief, stress release, and promoting healing. Essentrics® dynamically combines strengthening and stretching to develop a strong, toned body with the complete ability of moving each joint and muscle freely, and with full range of motion. The 60 minute workout happens mostly standing with some floorwork. This workout is for any BODY, as you will work to your unique level of fitness, strength and flexibility. Beginners are welcome!
Private Daytime Lessons
Learn proper body placement, alignment, increase flexibility, enhance balance, and gain self-discipline and self-confidence in our fun customized dance classes. We'll focus on barre and center floor work, along with across the floor combinations. Different style focuses available. No street shoes or pointe shoes please. Students who continue for the season will be invited to perform a solo (our group) dance in our annual showcase.
Kid and their Adult Partner Choreo
Learn a hip hop/jazz fusion number alongside your child in our Kid and their Adult Partner Choreo class and find your new fun activity to do together. Each class will include a warm up/cool down, original choreography, the chance to contribute to the piece, and the choice to have an in class peer performance.

East Coast Swing
Learn basic footwork of swing dancing with special guest instructors, Phil and Patsy! As the series progresses, you’ll add turns and other patterns for fun partner combos that are sure to impress on the dance floor.
Lyrical
Lyrical is the less structured version of ballet; a style that combines ballet and jazz dancing techniques performed to music with lyrics to evoke and express strong emotions. It focuses on personal approach and interpretation of such emotions as love, joy, hurt, or anger over the dancer’s precision of movement.
Go-Go-Go CARDIO
Get your heart rate up and hips moving, this dance cardio class works it all to a curated playlist that will help keep you moving with a fusion of hip hop, pop, latin and jazz. We’ll always include a warm up stretch and cool down, and leave plenty of time for water and laughter. Everyone, every level is always welcome to join class but this one will be non stop movement for the majority of the hour. It’s still focused on fun. If you don’t get the steps, that’s okay - just keep moving and grooving.

Groove Fusion
Move your body to the beat of the music and express yourself. The music can take on a more jazzy feel or simple beats, be fast or slow, and you can do all the moves in a chair if you wanted! It’s whatever you want to bring to the dance floor.
Work IT
It’s a vibe for the ones that want to break free and just dance. Find your feminine confidence and feel empowered to move how the music makes you feel. You won’t even know it’s a workout. Work IT is inspired by cheer, house dance, and pop style choreography with a splash of fitness and a whole lot of sass and edge to your favorite club songs. Every class will include a warm up and cool down along with full dance choreography. To empower you more, students are welcome to offer music selections and include their own choreography contributions. All levels welcome, some experience may be helpful, but not required. Posies Baby Wearing Dance Class
Fitness meets dance and snuggles! Posy is a small flower bouquet, typically given as a gift and carried or worn around the head or bodice. So… Come snuggle with your little gift (suggested ages 0-9 months, able to carry them) and build a bond through movement. Expecting mothers are welcome, too. Mix baby wearing and dancing for fun, laughs, bonding, and a good workout in our Posies Baby Wearing Dance Class! Most of the class will be movement and we’ll end with time to rest, feed, chat, and play before making the next transition of your day. ****Participants must have clearance from their doctor by the first class.*** No experience is necessary. This is an all levels, go at your own pace class with a focus on having fun with your baby and others experiencing the same things.
Marimo Style Dance Cardio
(ThinkZ*mba/J@zzercise but Marimo style) For those who love to dance but think you can’t or want to do something for themselves... All levels welcome. We’ll show up and move our bodies safely with an emphasis on there being no “perfect” way to. This is a class for those less experienced or maybe a little uncomfortable moving with lots of people around but want to just move and have fun. Everyone is welcome though. You bring what you want to the dance floor.

Dance Class
Dominique will walk dancers through stretches, techniques, and choreography to enhance the dancer’s overall abilities and perspective on dance. Dancers will engage together to learn and create something special while improving their skills in a fun way.
Ballet and Strength
We will work on not just ballet but strength and technique for all of our dancing. Every week we will do a full ballet barre and either center work, floor barre, or exercises to strengthen our muscles and improve our dancing. We will do exercises to specifically target the muscles that we use in ballet and in all other styles of dance and in our daily lives.
Fridays 4-5pm class
We will work on not just ballet but strength and technique for all of our dancing. Every week we will do a full ballet barre and either center work, floor barre, or exercises to strengthen our muscles and improve our dancing. We will do exercises to specifically target the muscles that we use in ballet and in all other styles of dance and in our daily lives. The use of bands to strengthen our feet or blocks to help strengthen our ankles and improve our balance will be introduced. Students will be given modifications for exercises for younger ages. Students will be invited to perform in the Student Showcase a short ballet piece that will take inspiration from well known Ballets. They may also be taught some ballet variations throughout the year inspired by or from ballets such as the Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, and Coppelia.

Dancers will explore expressive choreography and get comfortable performing—right on our own mini Broadway stage. Each week, we build dance technique while developing confidence, creativity, and performance skills in a fun, relaxed environment. Improvisation, storytelling, and musicality are woven into every class. Let your inner performer shine!

These performance-focused classes blend jazz-inspired movement with improvisation, imagination, and stage presence. This class is all about helping kids feel free to be themselves while learning the basics of dance. Each class includes a mix of stretching, coordination games, rhythm work, choreography, and fun props. We explore many different styles—like ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and modern—so there’s always something new to try. Kids are encouraged to add their own flair to the moves we learn together. While we won’t use obstacle courses in this class (those are saved for our Creative Movement classes), we’ll focus more on learning choreography and building confidence through movement.

(Think Zumba®/Jazzercise® with a Marimo twist) Love to dance but feel like you “can’t”? Or just looking for a fun way to do something for yourself? This class is for you. All levels are welcome —no experience needed. We’ll move together in a supportive, small-group setting with no pressure to be “perfect.” Whether you’re brand new, feeling a little shy, or just want a joyful way to get moving, this class is designed to help you feel comfortable, energized, and free.
Gentle Dynamic and Static Stretching
Lengthen, release, and energize your body while moving to instrumental versions of timeless, well-loved songs. This unique class blends yoga-inspired poses with dance-like flow—no dance or flexibility experience required. We’ll move continuously with simple yet powerful postures, creating a freestyle rhythm that feels natural and uplifting. Rooted in the science of functional movement, each session emphasizes flexibility, breathwork, and mobility to support ease of movement and long-term wellness. All levels and all backgrounds are welcome.
Pilates
This mat class will focus on fundamentals of pilates to strengthen the core, support healthy alignment, and find stability in your body. It's a great low impact way to strengthen and lengthen muscles. Got back pain? Have an old injury causing imbalance? Do you just want to be able to move with more ease? Pilates can help! All experience levels are welcomed, the class will be adapted as needed. Bring your own mat. The studio does have some available, if needed.
Floor Barre Ballet
This class takes a unique approach to learning ballet by starting on the floor rather than at the barre. Inspired by floor barre techniques, it focuses on gently training the body to understand alignment, posture, and movement patterns without the pressure of standing work right away. Students will begin with floor-based exercises to build strength, flexibility, and awareness, then gradually progress to standing at the barre and eventually moving in the center. The emphasis is on body education, technique, and mindful movement—not performance. Open to adults of all ages, genders, body types, and levels of experience. Whether you’re brand new to ballet, returning after time away, or simply looking for a thoughtful way to build technique, this class offers a supportive environment to grow at your own pace.

This class is all about having fun and moving your body to your favorite hip hop and pop songs over the decades. Each week we will build up choreography to a song for the month.
