For admission into our advanced classes, it is imperative that individuals have a minimum of 6-9 months of consistent classes at the Advanced Beginner level. In addition, at least 1 year of experience dancing in socials is required. It is essential to possess a profound understanding of the Salsa On2 style and the ability to execute more advanced shines and turns on the social dance floor. Our advanced classes take a deeper dive into more advanced concepts, incorporating dynamic movements, control, and style into challenging turn patterns and shines. Our Level 1 program is designed specifically for new students who are interested in learning or mastering the fundamentals of Salsa On2. Over the course of four weeks, you will develop a strong foundation and gain the confidence to navigate the dance floor with ease. During this program, we will focus on teaching you the basic steps and turns, as well as essential skills such as shines and leading & following techniques. Additionally, we will emphasize the importance of timing and musicality, allowing you to connect with the rhythm of the music. To encourage creativity, we will also explore variations of the turns. We highly recommend that you take at least two cycles of Level 1 to truly solidify your fundamentals and feel comfortable with your dancing abilities. By doing so, you will be fully prepared to progress to Level 2 with confidence.

Level 2 is designed for individuals who have completed Level 1 or have a strong foundation in Beginner Salsa On2 style (NY Style). In this 4-week course, participants will have the opportunity to further develop their skills in Salsa turns and explore more intricate salsa 'shines'. Throughout the course, we will focus on refining footwork techniques and incorporating traveling turns in partner work, allowing participants to unleash their creativity on the social dance floor. Prerequisites for Level 2: Completion of a few cycles of Level 1, and/or a strong grasp of the fundamental concepts in Beginner Salsa On2 style (NY Style)
