Throughout the September-June school year, team members are required to take classes in various forms of dance in order to enhance their technique and broaden their dancing.

Hip hop team members are required to take summer classes to maintain skill level and technique during the summer months. Please email us at loveofdancestudionj@gmail.com for summer class requirements.

We welcome students ages 10 & up with previous dance experience to join our hip hop team! Hip Hop Team students who make the team will need to fulfill the summer and fall requirements listed below.

Team members are also required to take summer classes to maintain skill level and determine level placement for the upcoming season. Class requirements vary per level. The first step to joining our LDS Competition Technical Team is registering for our team summer classes! All students interested in joining the team for the upcoming season must fulfill the team summer class requirements. During summer classes, we will assess students' ability and level as well as determine team placement.

LDS Competition Technical Team is for dedicated students who are ready to bring their dancing to the next level! LDS performance team allows students to gain performance skills and build confidence. It gives students several performance opportunities and the experience of working closely with their teachers and teammates.

Semi-private lessons are available for groups of two or three students who register for a minimum of one lesson per week for 6-8 consecutive weeks. Various durations are offered.

Rates for adult classes that are 1 hour long. Students may pay monthly or in three installments for these classes.

Classes for students in 5th grade and above. These classes have a recital costume fee of $90.00.

Students will be eligible by teacher recommendation only. Requirements: Students who have been selected for our Pre Pointe/Ballet II Combo class must take this class with one other ballet class. Pre-pointe/Ballet Combo class is offered to students who are not yet on pointe, but are working towards being on pointe. This class helps the dancer further develop and strengthen the muscles necessary to go en pointe. The class will focus on correct alignment and proper classical ballet technique incorporating exercises specifically geared to prepare the dancer for pointe work. Each dancer will go en pointe at their own pace. Dancers will be allowed to purchase pointe shoes when the instructor informs them they are ready.

We will email team members their technique class and team class requirements. Team level placement is based on ability and technique as well as age. Please note, levels are subject to change.

Bring your yoga mat for this 45-minute full body workout! In this class you can expect to build muscle strength and improve flexibility, coordination, and range of motion. We will use props such as weights, resistance bands, and yoga blocks to help strengthen various muscles including your arms, thighs, core, and glutes. Kick start your week with a good sweat!

We welcome students ages 10 & up with previous dance experience to join our hip hop team! Students ages 10 & up with Hip Hop dance experience are welcome to audition for the 2025-2026 Hip Hop Team on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 7:00-8:00pm.

Elite camp includes classes in B allet, Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, Stretch & Strength, Jumps & Turns, and Im provisation. Each day there will be a 30-minute lunch break.

Mini camp includes Ballet, Lyrical, and Jazz techniques

Petite camp includes classes in Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Stretch & Strength, Jumps & Turns, and Im provisation.

Dance Combo camp includes Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre!
