Shooting Star Dance Center

Come shine like the Broadway star you are! Beginning jazz combined with a whole lot of flair. We also incorporate props for maximum dramatic effect. No signing or acting required. Perfect for ages 6-10.

Bending, twisting, turning, and never sitting still – sound like someone you know? Our acrobatics class focuses on building a strong and steady foundation for a smooth transition to harder tricks once coordination, strength, and flexibility allow. This class is appropriate for ages 2.5 and older.

Picture your child whirling and twirling around the room as they explore fabulous new movements and enchanting themes each month! Our students are charmed by the fresh ideas and props they experience all the while learning the fundamentals of tap and ballet. It is a not to miss experience!

Every time music comes on can your child not sit still? Do the latest beats get them moving and grooving in their seats? Then do we have the class for you! Hip-op is a high-energy 30-minute hip hop class for ages 3 and up that is sure to be a delight for all our dancers and keep the smile on their faces while improving their coordination, rhythm, and balance.

Get the wiggles will be a buffet of high energy movement. Drawing from concepts of creative movement as well as dance, acrobatics, hip hop and yoga the class is sure to keep your little one moving, grooving and asking for more! Games, props, songs and dances will keep the class on their feet and half an hour will fly by.

Do you want all the enjoyment of dance class without commitment? Come try a pop class! Dazzle, twirl, leap, and play with one of our instructors as they lead your dancer through a 30-minute dance adventure. Pop-up classes are a great way to check out the studio and meet us without committing to more than 30 minutes at a time.

Twinkling Stars class for dancers aged 2 years old, meeting on Saturdays from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM.

Sparkling Stars class for dancers aged 3-4 years old, available on Thursdays from 5:15 PM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM.

Dazzling Stars 1 for 5th-8th Grade includes Ballet on Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 7 PM, Jazz on Thursdays from 7 PM to 7:30 PM, Tap on Thursdays from 7:30 PM to 8 PM, and Hip Hop on Wednesdays from 6:15 PM to 6:45 PM.

Glimmering Stars class for dancers aged 7-9 years old, held on Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Adult drop ins are Wednesday nights – Turn Up and Turn Out (Ballet/Jazz/Stretch class). All levels are welcome! Please register ahead of time with the link below. Please note select the season as a whole and then select drop-in dates to find specific classes.

Hip Hop class suitable for ages 5-9, which can be taken as a standalone class or added onto another class, meeting Wednesdays from 6:15 PM to 6:45 PM.

Adult Ballet/Jazz class held on Wednesdays from 7:30 PM to 8:15 PM.

Adult Tap class held on Wednesdays from 8:15 PM to 8:45 PM.

Shining Stars class for dancers aged 5-6 years old, offered on Wednesdays from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM and Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
