Is a high energy performing art that focuses on strength, stretch, balance and partnering work. Basic tumbling includes backbends, cartwheels, handstands/headstands, rolls, walkovers, handsprings and more.

Students will learn the latest new dance moves. Hip Hop allows a student to move freely and funky. This class will enhance a dancer’s energy and enthusiasm for dance and focuses on building the basics including counting music, memorization of sequences and choreography and exploring rhythm through the use of the body.

Is a total art form of dance, music, song and a way of life. Beginner students will learn basic flamenco technique- footwork, arms, posture, turns, and choreography. Students will also learn to play castanets.

This class concentrates on proper alignment, use of breath, quality of structural form, oppositional energy, moving through space, directional changes, fall and recovery, speed and performance quality.

Has become an exciting adventure in dance with tense, high-paced movement using today’s music. Jazz is a ballet-based style of dance that emphasizes turns and leaps. Prior or current ballet training is required.

Is a stylized form of jazz with sound. At the developmental level, tap reinforces rhythm concepts. As the students advance in ability, they learn increasingly intricate combinations.

Both barre and center work is used in Ballet to develop grace, flexibility, balance, alignment, and strength. Ballet combines the enjoyment of movement, expression and sensitivity to music along with discipline. It is a basis for all dance.

Are specially designed classes for the instruction of ballet, tap, or flamenco. The three styles of dance are taught separately in a 30 minute class each. The purpose of each class is to introduce young dancers to a specific style of dance and inspire movement and creativity within a positive environment. Dancers will also learn basic steps and terminology in each style.

Is an hour introductory dance class containing ballet, tap and creative movement. Young dancers will learn the basic steps while learning how to follow directions and imitate movement in a positive environment. The use of props such as dance bears, hula hoops and maracas, enables the young dancers to use their imagination, creativity and, most of all, have fun!
