About Center for Modern Dance Education
Located in Hackensack, New Jersey, the Center for Modern Dance Education is a dedicated institution fostering artistic expression through a diverse range of dance disciplines. Their comprehensive curriculum offers foundational training in classical Ballet, alongside vibrant exploration of Modern and Contemporary dance, delving into expressive movement and innovative choreography. Students can also immerse themselves in the dynamic energy of Jazz and the rhythmic percussiveness of Tap, while the ever-popular Hip Hop classes provide an outlet for urban movement and self-expression. Ballet Basics for Everybody
Welcome to Ballet Basics for everybody! This class is the perfect opportunity to delve into the foundational elements of ballet. In our Ballet Basics class, we provide a welcoming and supportive environment where students can develop their skills, improve their posture, and enhance their overall body awareness. You’ll be guided through a structured curriculum that focuses on building a strong ballet foundation while fostering a love for this timeless art form. Throughout the class, you’ll work on exercises at the barre, in the center, and across the floor, allowing you to develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and musicality. Each session will include a combination of ballet technique, alignment exercises, and graceful movements that cultivate the poise and elegance synonymous with ballet.
