Adult Tap
Jam packed class of cardio, tap, and fun! Grab your friend and come on down and join one of the hottest classes on our schedule
Pointe
By Teacher Recommendation A student begins pointe when they are quite accomplished in ballet Pointe is only an extension on ballet. Children should not begin pointe until their bone and muscle structures have been fully developed and strengthened (not before 11 or 12 years of age and with a minimum of 2 years training and teacher recommendation), as this can cause permanent damage to the entire skeletal system.
Hip Hop
A combination of street, pop and lock, and breaking taught in comfortable clothing & sneakers. This style is seen done by the back up dancers of some of the hottest artists out there! A funky yet, physically demanding style!
+ Strength & Conditioning
Stretch/Turn/Leap
This class works on strengthening ones flexibility, endurance, and stamina. You work solely on specific turns, jumps, and leaps. This class will enhance your Ballet/Jazz/Lyrical/Contemporary
Acro
An art form that incorporates the fluid movements of dance with exciting tricks from acrobatics. It is "gymnastics for dancers," where students develop specific strength, flexibility, & technique, to learn how to execute acrobatic tricks, to then be used in dance choreography. The training students receive in their Acro Dance class helps to reinforce the technique in all other dance genres.
Contemporary
One of the most popular styles of dance. Contemporary is a jazz based form of dance using dynamics of movement, music & improv to express yourself. Technique is a must! Ballet and/or Jazz must be taken in order to take Contemporary.
Jazz
This class incorporates ballet technique & terminology to accomplish flexibility & strength for a strong jazz foundation.Exciting warm-up to current music, cardio, center, isolations, down floor progressions, and dynamic combinations are taught weekly for memory, performance skills and fun.
Lyrical
Lyrical is a ballet based fluid form of dance that creates a story while using your extensions, balance and control. Ballet and/or Jazz must be taken in order to take Lyrical.
Tap
The Drum Beat of Dance - all tap classes are taught on the the balls of the feet, with proper ankle technique, to develop rhythm, style and grace, while working towards our aim of speed and clarity. Exciting progressions and combinations are taught weekly for memory and performance skills. Learn to make music with your feet. One of the most fun classes!
Ballet
All ballet classes are taught in a classical manner, combining Vaganova (Russian), French, and Cechetti (Italian) Styles. We stress correct terminology, body placement, body direction, proper technique and controlled stretching. Ballet is the foundation on all dance forms; it is strongly encouraged for all serious students. All elements of barre, center adagio & allegro, and across the floor are worked weekly.
Kindergarten
This is our popular hour combination class. A delightful progression of our Nursery/Pre-K Program (see above) with the exciting addition of Tap/Jazz/Hip Hop. In both combo classes we continue to build self esteem & confidence. Classes available during the week and Saturday morning.
Nursery/Pre-K
A structured class filled with TLC our baby ballerinas. Basic ballet fundamentals, French terminology, creative movement, and basic tumbling are taught. This class also builds our dancers self esteem, teaches them coordination & works on their memorization skills. They will dance to popular children's songs and nursery rhymes. This program is designed to be nurturing, fun, and exciting for your little one. Classes are 45 minutes and available afternoons during the week and Saturday mornings.
Tiny Tots
This is a special program for our tiniest little dancers. Tender loving care is given to teach basic coordination, right from left, ballet class basics, and class structure. Fun additions such as scarves, mats, toddler tunes, and a parachute ensure an exciting 45-minute class. Although our tiniest dancers are not in our year-end recital, the students perform a memorable dance in the studio for Mom and Dad.
Tiny Tots
Tiny Tots class for ages 2. This class focuses on introducing very young children to the joys of movement and dance in a fun and engaging environment.
Kindergarten Acro
Kindergarten Acro class for age 5, requiring ballet as a prerequisite and without a show. This class focuses on basic tumbling and acrobatic skills suitable for young dancers.
6-8 Beginner Acro
Beginner acro class for ages 6-8, requiring ballet as a prerequisite and without a show. This class builds on foundational acrobatic skills.
Nursery/Pre-K
Nursery/Pre-K class for ages 3-4, available in Show A or Show B. This class is designed to develop early motor skills and foster a love for dance through creative play.
Kindergarten Ballet/Tap
Kindergarten Ballet/Tap class for age 5, part of Show A. This foundational class introduces young students to the techniques of ballet and tap dance.
11-14 Experienced Acro
Experienced acro class for ages 11-14, requiring ballet as a prerequisite and without a show. This class challenges dancers with advanced acrobatic skills and flexibility.
9-12 Experienced Acro
