Dancemania, located in Yorkville, New York, has been a vibrant hub for dance education and performance for over 28 years. Founded in 1997 by Cherie Lewis, a lifelong dance enthusiast and competitive dancer, Dancemania fulfills a childhood dream of providing a welcoming environment for dancers of all ages, from tiny tots to teens. Cherie, who holds a certification from Dance Masters of America and studied RAD ballet syllabus, leads the studio's comprehensive program. Dancemania offers a diverse range of popular dance styles, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, and Hip Hop, catering to both recreational and competitive students. Beyond regular classes, the studio emphasizes personal growth, encouraging students to strive for continuous improvement. Cherie's extensive experience includes teaching Jazz and Lyrical workshops for other studios and judging the NYS Dance Challenge, highlighting her commitment to the dance community. Dancemania also hosts birthday parties and offers a summer dance camp in July. Registration is required to secure a spot, and dance shoes are conveniently sold on-site. The studio's rich history, celebrated over 28 years, is a testament to the memories created and the progress made by its dedicated students.
