The class will be split between Jazz and Acro/Gymnastics. Dancers will work on flexibility, Strength, Progressions, Conditioning, Leaps, Turns and bi-weekly combinations.

Zeal For Life Dance Company (ZFLDC) is a nationally award winning competition team. Being a part of the ZFLDC competition team requires dedication and determination. On average, dancers have class 2-5 times per week. Dancers are required to have at least 1 year of dance experience before joining our competition program. OUR ZFLDC MISSION: To improve with each competition and do our personal best each time we step out onto the stage!

Our competition intensive is required to join the competition team. The intensive is our audition process. It is August 14-25th, 2023. You can register for the intensive through our "online registration" tab. Create a profile for your child and then select the intensive.

The audition process of the ZFLDC competition team is a two-week intensive. The competition intensive program for Zeal For Life Dance Company will be August 19th- August 30th. During this two-week process, dancers will be observed by staff while taking class. Combinations will be taught the first week and evaluated the second week on how well dancers have retained information/corrections learned within the first week. Dancers should attend all classes based on their age.

Zeal For Life Dance Company’s annual Competition Intensive will be held August 18–22, 2025. This mandatory week-long program serves as the evaluation process for dancer placement on the 2025–2026 competition teams. Throughout the week, dancers will participate in age-appropriate classes where they will be observed by ZFL staff. Choreography and combinations will be taught during the first two days, with evaluations conducted at the end of the week based on dancers’ ability to retain choreography, apply corrections, and demonstrate growth.

Summer Camp is offered Monday- Friday, 8:00-3pm (FULL DAY) & 8-12pm (HALF DAY). Our summer camp classes are offered in the genres of Jazz, Hip Hop, and Gymnastics. Campers are guaranteed to have a fun filled week of dance, arts & crafts, games and themes.
