Center Stage Dance Company, located in China Grove, North Carolina, is a premier dance studio dedicated to fostering a passion for dance across various genres for students of all ages and levels. Our experienced and dedicated faculty, including Sandy Overcash, Sydney Overcash, Jonathan Matthews, Logan Durant, Kristi Miller, Liza Eller, Hiliarie Covington, Lauren Schultz Pryor, and Ava Jett McCall, brings a wealth of national and international performance and choreography experience. Many instructors are proud alumni, deeply understanding our studio's philosophy: 'Take Pride. Stay Humble. Go Full Out.' We offer a comprehensive dance education, with students exploring styles such as Hip Hop, Lyrical, Jazz, Ballet, and Tap. Our curriculum caters to young aspiring dancers as young as three years old in preschool classes, progressing through Kindergarten to Fifth Grade, and offering specialized classes for Middle and High School students. For our youngest dancers, we offer a blend of dance and gymnastics. Center Stage Dance Company cultivates a supportive environment where dancers can develop skills, express creativity, and achieve performance goals. Beyond classes, students participate in a Holiday Show Recital, an end-of-year recital where most perform two numbers, and engage with the community through various area parades, including a dedicated marching unit for older students. The Dancer's Loft, our on-site store, provides essential dancewear and accessories. We emphasize quality, experience, and education, ensuring a rewarding experience for every dancer, including end-of-year awards and trophies, with recital fees covering parent tickets, a trophy, and online streaming access. Registration for the fall 2026-2027 season opens in June, and summer dance camps will be announced.
