Most of our children's dance classes operate on a school year style schedule and have the option to participate in our annual Recital! This is what we mean we say "Full Season Classes."

Boys and male identifying dancers are welcome in all our classes. But, sometimes we hear from our families that their male dancer really wants to dance but wants either more boys in the class or an environment just for them. We do our best to provide these options! BUT the best way to ensure there will be other boys in a dance class is to have your kiddo sign up with a friend!

Pay only $130 for $150 in class credits! Class Packages cannot be shared. Packages expire in 6 months.

Monarch Movement Company offers movement classes for people of all ages. Whether you are looking to rekindle a love of dancing, keep active for self care, or push toward mastery of a pose or step, you are invited to join the Monarch community!

Level 3 will be an advanced level class and requires teacher approval to register. High school students who have been studying a style for many years might be appropriate for a Level 3 class.

Level 2 will be appropriate for most 8th-12th graders or anyone with significant experience in a style.

Level 1 will be appropriate for most 6th and 7th graders as well as anyone who is newer to a style.

We are overjoyed and overfull with middle and high schoolers! In an effort to spread our numbers around and better provide what each dancer needs in their training, we are now leveling our 6th-12th grade classes.

Lyrical is introduced, emphasizing dancing with emotion and flow. Hip Hop teaches confidence, groundedness, and rhythm skills. Tumble helps our dancers build whole body strength and balance!

Jazz utilizes ballet technique, but styles it towards faster, sharper movements. Musical Theatre will also be explored in these classes!

Ballet and Tap are staples of a well rounded dance education and dancers are strongly encouraged to take these classes!

Our elementary classes are for dancers who will be in Kindergarten-5th grade during the 2025/26 school year. Combo classes will split time between the two styles, building on the foundations with age appropriate focus.

The Ballet, Tap, & Tumble Combo will split time between the styles, teaching the basics and engaging the dancers in creativity and fun. Tumble teaches strength and flexibility to prepare for big jumps and upside down movements!

Our Preschool Classes are appropriate for 3 year olds ready to take on a slightly longer, more focused class through 5 year olds who have not yet entered Kindergarten.

These classes are for toddlers who are ready to dance without a grown up. Check "Family Dance & Movement" for classes with a grownup!

A gentle way to start your weekend with your family offered to our community at no charge. Class will begin with a full body warm-up followed by yoga asanas/poses presented with lots of options for all experience levels. Connect your movement to your breath and ease into your weekend. Families with and without children encouraged to join us!

This kids' yoga class for ages 5-10 fosters strength, balance, flexibility, and mindfulness through fun poses, breathing exercises, and games. While kids build confidence and focus, parents can take a well-deserved break nearby. Please bring a water bottle and a yoga mat.

Join us in celebrating the Summer Solstice at Monarch Movement Company with a special event centered around the Sun Salutation sequence. This powerful practice, also known as Surya Namaskar, will be repeated a total of 108 times. Sun Salutations are often practiced as a meditative and spiritual exercise, especially during significant celestial events like solstices and equinoxes. It's a beautiful way to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit, and connect with the energy of the universe.
