Storytellers Dance Academy LLC

Our recreational program is designed for dancers of all ages and dance experiences. This includes young, beginner dancers all the way through our advanced adults! The recreational classes at our studio are taught at a level that will allow dancers who so desire to use them as a stepping stone to join our competition team. They are also designed to allow students who are not interested in dancing competitively and who would like to remain in our recreational program to continue to advance in their dance education. We always seek to help our dancers excel in a positive, safe, and encouraging environment.

Wanting some extra attention to improve your skills? We offer private lessons at Storytellers in the styles of Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, and Hip Hop! Lessons cost $25 per half hour, or $40 per hour. Due to high demand, please note that private lessons are reserved for registered members of our competition team or recreational students.

Beginner Preschool Tap and Ballet, Ages 3-4

Our competition students take classes in the styles of Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, and Hip Hop! Class times are as follows: Mini Competition Team: Monday: 5:00-6:00pm Thursday: 4:30-5:30pm.

These weekly classes are a fun, exciting experience for adults! Though we call these our Advanced Adult classes, they are open to adults with all different levels of experience The content of these classes varies from week to week, though each class focuses on strengthening dance skills while building an appreciation for these styles of dance.

Our Advanced Ballet class presents dancers with an opportunity to strengthen their core technical skills. This class is held on Tuesday nights from 7:30-8:30pm, and the monthly tuition is $35. This class is open to all dancers, and it is separate from all other classes. Please note that this class does not perform in our End of Year Revue. We treat this class as supplemental instruction for any dancers wishing to continue pushing forward in their ballet technique.
