HOMESCHOOL Elective

is a creative movement based class taught by Mrs. Lexie Anne who taught dance in public schools for five years before opening Triple Pointe. The class will be inspired by what she taught in her class at school. Students will learn age appropriate dance terminology, dance history, dance anatomy and will explore choreography, composition, and a variety of dance styles. This will be a 45 minute class and students will perform a dance in the recital (optional).

CCI (Composition,Choreography, Improvisation)

is offered to students in 6th through 12th Grade. CCI will consist of learning a contemporary or jazz combination every week to improve the dancers ability to learn choreography in a quick manner. In this class, the dancer will also learn the meaning of dance composition and will create and discover movement in the body. They will have a full understanding of the choreographic process. Improv will be used as a tactic to assist the dancer to create movement and be comfortable with the spontaneous creation of movement.

STL (Stretch, Turns, LEAPS)

is offered to students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade. We highly suggest this class for all our students eligible as it enhances their skills in all styles. STL will solely focus on stretching to improve flexibility, advanced turn sequences, and complex leaps. This class will enhance technique and increase the dancer's skill level. *This class is required to be part of the TPDA Troupe.*

Adult HIP HOP

will be another great way to bust some moves no matter if you have danced before or are a first timer. *Adult classes will be for movement and fun and each dancer will have the option of performing in the recital. *

Ballet

Pre-Pointe/Pointe Class is available starting in 6th grade and continues through 12th. Pre-Pointe involves strength training in preparation for Pointe. Once instructors determine the dancer has reached pointe level, the dancer will begin pointe.

combo classes

introduce the fundamentals of tap and ballet, while also exploring imaginations through creative movement. Acrobatics is introduced in the combo class at the age of four and then offered as an additional class once they begin elementary school. Jazz is introduced when they begin elementary school and continues through high school. Lyrical is introduced when they reach 2nd grade and transitions to contemporary/modern when they reach high school.
