Harmony Irish Dance

Dancers will learn the fundamentals and basic footwork of Irish Dance while also learning choreography & timing of the music for the core dances ~ Reel, Light Jig, Slip Jig, Hornpipe, & Treble Jig. We will also cover team dances also known as Ceili dances. All dancers learn soft shoe first and then learn hard shoe once they’ve developed enough strength and understanding of soft shoe. Dancers in this class do have the opportunity to perform and compete once they have an efficient understanding of their steps, if that is something you desire for your child.
