New Albany Ballet Company

Students ages six and up are auditioned into the Progressive Division by faculty members with a professional ballet background and several years of ballet teaching experience. Progressive Division students are children seeking ballet training on a more serious and potentially higher level of training in the future. Children are placed into the progressive division by audition only and require at least a full year of ballet training. In addition, Progressive Division classes meet multiple times a week, require year round training, and are evaluated several times a year by our faculty.

NABC doesn’t want the girls to have all the fun! We have developed a boys only program that has grown over the years. Boys may choose to take either ballet or hip hop in a class geared towards the needs of boys and in an environment they feel comfortable exploring the world of dance.

NABC recognizes the desire of older teens and adults to continue dancing for fun and fitness. We offer classes in ballet, tap, and hip hop geared towards both teens and adults.

Come join this fun and great ballet class each Monday! Wear anything comfortable you can move in and experience how good ballet training is for posture, flexibility, and endurance. The perfect class to introduce music and movement with the help of a grown up near by. Toddlers will learn gross motor skills, spatial awareness, and age appropriate classroom etiquette.

Does your little one dream about being in the Nutcracker? Your little one will be transported into the land of the sweets, party scene, and adorable battle scene. All campers will be gifted their very own Nutcracker, tutu, and coloring pages to take home. Cost of camp includes ballet class, craft, performance for the parents, take home Nutcracker tutu, and a few other surprises.
