TURNING POINTE Dance of Tulsa, located in Bixby, Oklahoma, is a premier faith-based dance studio celebrating 15 years of dedicated instruction. Owned and operated by Holly Columbus, a dancer trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical from a young age, the studio welcomes students of all ages, from 3 years old through adulthood, to explore their passion for dance. Our comprehensive curriculum encompasses a wide range of genuine dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro, Musical Theatre, and Hip-Hop. Beyond individual instruction, TURNING POINTE Dance of Tulsa also fosters talent through several company competition teams, encouraging teamwork and advanced skill development. We are proud of our talented team of instructors, including Danielle Liechty, with extensive experience in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, acrobatics, contemporary, lyrical, modern, and musical theater, and a background in competitive dance, and Elizabeth Szymanski, who holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Dance Performance and has performed in various intricate roles. Instructors possess extensive teaching and performing experience, and consistently engage in professional development. TURNING POINTE emphasizes not only technical excellence but also the development of crucial life skills such as respect and confidence, while instilling discipline, integrity, and an exceptional work ethic. Our mission is to help each dancer unlock their greatest potential and cultivate a true love for dance, grounded in Christian principles.
