Students registered in Tap 3 or higher will be working on mastering increased difficult rhythms. Instructor approval is required.

Jazz 4 & 5

At these advanced levels, dancers work on mastering intricate combinations, increasing strength, flexibility, and stamina, and refining performance quality. Classes move at a fast pace, demanding precision, artistry, and technical excellence.

Jazz 3

Dancers begin building more refined technique with a focus on leg strength, flexibility, and continued development of jazz vocabulary and style. Across-the-floor patterns become more complex, and performance quality begins to take center stage.

Jazz 2

This level introduces dancers to jazz fundamentals including isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and center combinations. Emphasis is placed on rhythm, coordination, and musicality while laying the groundwork for higher-level training.

Jazz Levels 2–5

Our Jazz program blends classic technique with upbeat rhythms, dynamic movement, and stage-ready style. From foundational skills to advanced combinations, dancers are encouraged to bring energy, confidence, and personal flair to every class.

Hip Hop 2 and up

Choreography is taught fast, and students should start to master how to pop, tut, wave, groove, tick, dime stop, warp etc. Students should start to master textures, explore individual style and make style choices. Students should be able to dance by themselves in front of the class, can motivate selves to warm up, practice, help each other, and even give each other corrections (positively).

Contemporary 4 & 5

Designed for advanced dancers ready to master intricate combinations, explore deeper emotional expression, and refine control, strength, and flexibility—particularly in the legs, ankles, and core. These levels demand consistent practice and focus, as choreography becomes more layered and technically demanding.

Contemporary 3

Contemporary Level 2 & Up

Pre-Pointe & Pointe Program

Students in Level 3 and above may be invited into our Pre-Pointe Program as they develop the strength and technique required for pointe work. Before beginning pointe, dancers must successfully complete a formal evaluation to ensure readiness.

The focus in this class will be on the basic movements of tap and rhythm, because once these are mastered anything is possible.

ACROBATICS

Offered to ages 6 and up. Acrobatics teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline & concentration. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique. All classes focus on both classic and current styles of jazz, while keeping emphasis on technique, center, and placement. Creative routines are taught and dancers learn how to interpret their music with control and fluidity. Classes integrate the fundamentals of ballet for proper technique, while using exciting music and fresh moves. We highly recommend students continue ballet training while taking jazz.

Lyrical

Lyrical is a fusion of ballet and jazz, with expressive motions that focus on telling a story. Students will learn lyrical technique along with how to express emotion through movement. Our lyrical program directly feeds into our contemporary program. Although not required, ballet is highly recommended as corequisite for lyrical!

BALLET
