Classes
Body Positivity Class
Body Positivity class is about embracing you and your body, so please wear clothes that are comfortable for a workout. We will be very active in class, so wear enough clothing to feel comfortable, but not so much that it inhibits your movement. It is recommended that you bring or wear something to cover your knees in case we do work on the floor. Sneakers are the recommended footwear for this class. , but we may remove them for certain sections of class.
Barre Class
Ballet clothing (see above) and/or leggings and tank tops or shirts are all acceptable. Anything a student would normally wear for a workout will likely stand in good stead. Ballet slippers, Jazz shoes/sneakers, barre socks and bare feet are all acceptable. Be sure to wear supportive undergarments, take off jewelry, toss out gum and put long hair out of the face. Safety first, and fun a close second!
Hip Hop
Students should wear clean tennis shoes, loose fitting athletic pants or leggings, and a t-shirt, or tank top. Hoodies may be worn at the beginning of class, but instructors will ask that they be removed for specialized isolation work, so wear something underneath please.
Tap
Tap dancers can wear leggings, shorts or skirts, or any lower body garment that doesn't dwarf or hide the knees and ankles. A tank top, or tee shirt can be worn on top. Hair should be up and out of the face, no jewelry and no gum please.
Jazz
The student should wear a black leather Jazz shoe, with a form-fitting but comfortable Jazz or athletic pant and a t-shirt or tank top. Long hair should be pulled back. No jewelry and no gum please.
Creative Movement & Ballet
Option A: The student should wear pink leather or canvas Ballet slippers, pink tights, and a leotard of any color, with hair pulled back and no jewelry. A Ballet skirt may be worn if desired. Option B: The student should wear black leather or canvas Ballet shoes, shorts or leggings, white t-shirt and no jewelry.
Adult Level Dance Class
80 minute adult level dance class once a week for $60 per month. This only applies to classes for students aged 18 and older.

Adult Stretch & Mobility
This class focuses on development and retention of joint mobility and flexibility training through safe and easily modified exercises. A variety of exercises are adapted and introduced to meet the specific needs of the class.
Adult Body Positivity (ABP)
Comprises cardio work through accessible-for-anyone dance steps with PG-13 music and an emphasis on moving our bodies in ways that celebrate our forms.
Hip Hop
For students of Kindergarten age and older, Hip Hop is a rather new genre when compared to others, and finds its roots in Black culture. Hip Hop is a combination of African, Vaudeville, Jazz, Tap, and other influences best expressed in today's urban Rap culture. Instruction focuses on the technique and history of the genre while integrating current and popular age-appropriate music and movement.
Jazz
For students Kindergarten age and older, Jazz dancing originates from the Broadway tradition, and stylistically is characterized by strong, sassy, Ballet-like movements performed to popular music.
Tap
For students Kindergarten age and older, Tap is performed to a variety of music genres, and incorporates techniques from Ballet, Jazz, and other dance styles. Rhythm is a strong focus within our Tap curriculum.
Ballet
For students Kindergarten age and older, Our Vaganova curriculum comprises exercises done at the barre, in the centre, and across the floor. Pointe instruction begins when the student is at least a level IV, and the instructor deems them ready.
Preschool Ballet & Preschool Tap
Our preschool level classes are for students ages 3-5 years, who typically have not yet entered Kindergarten. Classes are 45 minutes and are based in preschool age development and curriculum. Instruction is comprised of a "follow-along" warm up, singing, introductory technique within the genre, dance games that teach rhythm and musicality, and introducing kiddos to the group class environment.
ADVANCED TAP
