About All That Dance Co
All That Dance Co, located in Eugene, Oregon, cultivates a lifelong love for movement in dancers of all ages and skill levels. Founded on a passion for teaching and student connection, the studio has grown from its humble beginnings into a thriving center for dance education. We offer a comprehensive range of genuine dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Tap, Acrobatic Arts, and Ballroom, ensuring a perfect fit for beginners and experienced dancers alike. Our curriculum emphasizes technical proficiency, performance, and artistry. Specialized programs include the "First Steps Program" (ages 1-7) introducing foundational elements, "Hip Hoppin'," "Pre-Ballet," and "T3" for dynamic introductions to various genres. We are proud to be the only Acrobatic Arts certified studio in the area, with certified instructors guiding students through a unique fusion of dance and gymnastic disciplines. All That Dance Co offers extensive programming, including eight levels of performance and competition teams, intensive and master classes, and an Adult Hip Hop class. Led by Company Director Sarah Beth Byrum, who brings twenty years of experience, and supported by Assistant Director Marie Locke and instructors like Caitley Criswell and Alyssa Bates, many of whom are studio alumni, we foster a nurturing, safe, and positive learning environment. We are dedicated to building lasting relationships, believing that the impact of dance extends far beyond the studio walls, empowering students with confidence, determination, and teamwork.

Classes
Intensive Program
For dancers who have decided that dance is their key focus, we offer an intensive training program that covers eight different teams, starting as young as five years old and ranging to our high school and adult companies. Our intensive program includes a high level of dance training as well as concert and competition work. It is our goal to instill in our students a passion for performing rather than merely the desire to win awards. Toward that end, Intensive dancers participate in performance opportunities ranging from concert style dance to competitions and conventions. We believe that every performance from small community venues to national stages has something to offer our dancers.
HMC Adult Hip Hop
This hip hop class is for adult dancers who want to push themselves to work hard on and off the dance floor. Each week will feature new sequences presented to challenge all levels of dancers. This is a drop in class and choreography will be fresh each week. Nick-named the "Hot Mammas Club" - this group accepts all dancers of all ability levels. Drop in class fee of $10 per class, or purchase a punch card. No registration fee required, just come on down to class.
Acrobatic Arts
Acrobatic Arts is a unique blend of dancing and gymnastic disciplines that is taking the dance world by storm. Stunning moves from gymnastics is blended with steps and routines from the dance world for a unique and modern approach to dance. ATD is the only Acrobatic Arts certified studio in our area. Students will be working on strength and flexibility, as well as foundational acrobatic techniques in variations such as cartwheels, bridges, dive rolls, walk overs, aerials, and more. These skills will develop by level as they progress through the training program. Dancers who study acro are stronger, have better body control, and can integrate in seamless transitions and tricks in to their dancing. Placement is at teacher discretion for advanced classes.
Pointe
This class is geared toward dancers who have already been placed on pointe shoes to work on their technique and ability to perform en pointe.
Pre-Pointe
This class is geared toward dancers who are interested in being placed on pointe shoes. This class is specifically designed to help them strengthen their feet and ankles and prepare their bodies for pointe work. Dancers will be evaluated throughout the year for pointe readiness. This is not a performance class.
Hip Hop
From isolations to ground work, freestyle to choreographed sequences, this class moves at a fast-paced through strong, athletic hip hop styles. Experienced dancers who have mastered beginner and intermediate level steps will integrate their training in to more advanced choreography and sequencing.
Musical Theatre
This class is designed for the dancer who wants to expand their knowledge to include training in the area of Broadway style dance. The class will focus on the type of movement and performance skills needed for stage. Music selections will be from well known musicals and give students the opportunity to experience the "triple threat" of singing, dancing, and acting. Focus will be on the dance component of Broadway styles but class will incorporate exercises to improve stage presence and acting improvisation skills.
Contemporary
Contemporary dance takes technical proficiency to the next level by using that technique to bring music and emotion to life. Dancers are asked to become artists on stage and convey a message to their audience. Advanced dancers work on technical proficiency by using that technique to bring music and emotion to life.
Tap
Basic sequencing, rhythms, and syncopations will be taught at the beginning level. Fast footwork and understanding of movement's relationship to music will be developed. As dancers advance sequencing, rhythms, and syncopations will be taught and more complicated pattern work. Fast footwork and understanding of movement's relationship to music will be developed.
Jazz
Jazz dance is a perfect blend of clean lines, energetic movement, and expression. Dancers will learn movement vocabulary including, battements kicks, grapevine, pirouette prep, chaine turns and more. Continuing jazz dancers will increase their movement vocabulary to include jumps, turns, extensions, flexibility, alignment, and balance.
Ballet
This class will emphasize knowledge of ballet terminology and classical technique. Ballet will include barre and center work with a focus on correct alignment and positioning. Continuing ballet dancers will integrate their technique in to not only barre and centre work, but complex progressions and choreography as well. Advanced classes will include including petit and grand allegro, pirouettes, and adagio work.
Acro Stars
Acro Stars is a unique blend of dancing and gymnastic disciplines that is taking the dance world by storm. Stunning moves from gymnastics is blended with steps and routines from the dance world for a unique and modern approach to dance. ATD is the only Acrobatic Arts certified studio in our area. Tap, Technique, and Theatre take center stage in this new class offering! This class is the perfect blend of tap and musical theatre for our younger age set. If your dancer is ready to shine in the spotlight and amp up their dance skills at the same time the Tap, Technique & Theatre class is the spot for them!
Pre-Ballet
This is where your little dancer learns to love dance! Pre-Ballet class focuses on developing proper ballet technique and is specifically for our younger dancers. This class will be a introduction to ballet with an emphasis on classical terminology and technique. This class will instill a love for classical ballet in our young dancers in a creative, fun, and supportive environment.
Hip Hoppin’
This is a basic introduction to the fun and energetic styles of jazz and hip hop for our youngest dancers. More athletic style movement and a faster pace in class will keep these kids moving! Basics of hip hop such as isolations, syncopated movement, ground work, and musicality will be explored in this class. All music and movement is designed to be appropriate for the younger age group.
Dance Sampler
This is where your little dancer develops a lifetime love for dance. The dance sampler classes explore the basics of three different idioms - ballet, jazz, and tap. Students are taught technique and skill building in all three styles, as well as choreographed dances. A strong emphasis is placed on learning terminology, a fundamental understanding of music and its relationship to movement, and alignment and positioning. The goal of the dance sampler classes is to build a solid foundation in dance for young dancers to build on as they continue their study.
Toddlers & Tutus
This is the perfect introductory class to have your little one loving dance. We welcome both boys and girls in this class to move and groove together. Dancers will learn ballet and jazz movements while developing their gross and fine motor skills. Your child will work with educated instructors who understand early childhood development and develop a healthy body and mind at this early age that will last them a lifetime! This class will begin as a Mommy-and-Me (or Daddy and me) with interaction and assistance from parents in the class. As the year progresses, the class will transition our dancers in to being comfortable in an independent class situation.
Baby Ballet
By combining movements, activities, props and music, our tiny dancers will learn bodily awareness and self-control, while discovering the wonder of socializing with other little ones. Children are encouraged to further develop and explore their ability to move, dance and sing in our baby ballet class. With a parent or guardian by their side, these fun classes involve lots of smiles and laughter - the perfect baby ballet class! The little ones love the dances and catchy songs – and so do the adults!
Toddlers
Early childhood dance classes designed to introduce the youngest learners to movement and music. These classes focus on developing gross motor skills, rhythm, and a positive association with dance in a playful setting.
Preschoolers

Technique classes
Classes that focus on building a strong foundation in dance technique. These are recommended as the first step in choosing classes to ensure proper training and skill development.
Summer programming
The new studio location offers summer programming in three studios, with increased parking and a secure, accessible environment. This phase is part of a larger plan to expand to a nearly 10,000 SF building with five state-of-the-art dance studios.
Teen dancers
Older performers are capable of expressing more complexity in their emotional performance and should be able to blend their movement style and facial expressions to connect to an audience. Receiving honest feedback from peers about what aspects of their performance is connecting emotionally is extremely valuable.
Elementary School Aged
Helps performers express their emotions through their faces and recognize that emotional quality in another person. This also allows them to shape their faces and see the result and what areas of their face the mask is covering, while using the areas that are visible.
Young dancers
Exercises to help young dancers recognize facial expressions, even from behind the mask. This can translate to them understanding that they need to smile while performing even under their masks because we can tell!

Destination Dance
Destination Dance will allow you to travel through an amazing dance adventure. This program is designed for young dancers who want to experience dance education, but may not be able to commit to our full ten month season. With your Destination Dance passport, you can hand-pick your favorite adventures and design a schedule that works for your family. Destination Dance sessions are six-weeks long and offered throughout our season, so you can hop on board for just one session or the full experience.

A magical camp creation where dancers engage in various activities, often involving imaginative play and movement, even amidst imperfect surroundings. The focus is on the joy and connection fostered during the camp experience.
