Flex Studios, a premier dance institution located in Eugene, Oregon, is thrilled to celebrate its twelfth year of artistic expression. Dedicated to fostering talent across a wide range of ages and skill levels, Flex Studios offers a vibrant hub for dance enthusiasts. The studio is committed to providing engaging instruction in a welcoming environment, inspiring a lifelong love of dance through creativity and physical expression. Flex Studios prides itself on a comprehensive approach to dancer development, particularly for its esteemed Competition Group, comprised of dancers aged 11-19. Led by directors Angela Dunham and Lindsey Shields, this advanced ensemble excels in contemporary and hip hop styles, requiring a minimum of five years of experience in both disciplines. Beyond the competition circuit, students engage in rigorous training, including mandatory enrollment in Performance Group Ballet, Competition Group Ballet, Advanced Contemporary Techniques or Advanced Contemporary Jazz, and Advanced Hip Hop. Additional ballet and tap classes are highly recommended to enhance technical proficiency. The studio operates on a 10-month season (September to June) with a transparent, consistent monthly tuition structure. Flex Studios offers various tuition plans, including hourly rates, performance group rates, competition group rates, and unlimited individual dancer rates. Policies regarding summer camps, payment processing, and fees for concerts, costumes, and media are clearly outlined. A 30-day written notice via an official 'Adjustment & Withdraw Form' is required for program changes. Flex Studios is a cornerstone of the Eugene arts scene, dedicated to developing driven, talented, and diverse dancers through rigorous training, community engagement, and participation in local and out-of-town competitions, festivals, and annual benefit and end-of-year concerts.
