A-WOL Dance Collective, nestled in Portland, Oregon, is a vibrant hub for movement and artistic expression, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of dance and aerial arts. Championing the notion of "aerial without limits," A-WOL offers a unique blend of performance and education for students of all ages. Their comprehensive programming spans a wide array of disciplines including Aerial, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Tap, and Barre. Pro-training Membership

Pro-training Membership is Portland’s aerial arts training hub and home for local and traveling artists. Members have many privileges and opportunities at the A-WOL space including unlimited training time at A-WOL Dance Collective during training hours, drop-in options, discounted rental space for teaching private and group lessons, access to equipment storage, and equipment readily available to rent for personal or lesson use.

Silks Class

I loved my silks class at A-WOL. It was such a supportive and enjoyable environment to be in. I am grateful I got to learn so many new skills, while also strengthening my foundations. Steph did a great job customizing each class to the students’ needs and making it fun in the process. I’m looking forward to my next series!

Aerial dance

Angela grew up in dance studios and on gymnastics floors, but her real passion was jumping rope. She performed and traveled as part of a jump rope team all through middle and high school. This is how she realized her love of the stage! Years later she took up partner acrobatics and aerial dance.

Dance

This 3-day intensive is designed for young aspiring pre-professional aerialists, dancers, acrobats, and artist athletes ages 12-19 years. Each intensive day runs from 8:30am-5:30pm and will include classes in both vertical and bar aerial apparatus, dance, theater, flexibility, and extra-curricular circus disciplines such as handstands, acro, tumbling, juggling, etc.

Each day runs 8:30am - 5:30pm. The first ½ hour is built in time for students to arrive and settle into the space. Students will have two 15-minute snack breaks and a 45-minute lunch break. Students will receive 6-6.5 hours of coaching throughout the day.
