Sisters Dance Academy, nestled in the heart of Sisters, Oregon, is a vibrant hub for dance education and artistic expression, fostering a love for movement in dancers of all ages and skill levels. Founded by Lonnie Liddell, the academy has blossomed into a community dedicated to building confidence and inspiring creativity. SDA offers a diverse range of genuine dance styles, including Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, and Latin Jazz. Our esteemed instructors bring a wealth of experience: Lonnie Liddell (Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballroom), Kayla Williams (Contemporary, Jazz, ensembles), Shannon Abero Guerrero and Ashley Gaona (Hip Hop, Tap), Ava Wiley (Contemporary, Jazz, Acro), Colby Roberts (Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz), Liz Lopez (Jazz, Latin Jazz), and Jordan Weaver (Contemporary, improvisation, technique). Haley Ellis also leads high-energy fitness classes. The academy is home to competitive teams, including "All Hip Hop Teams" and "Jr & Sr Ensembles," providing dedicated dancers opportunities to showcase their talents in events like the SDA Showcase and various competitions such as the LEGACY COMPETITION, TERPSICHOREAN SHOWCASE, SPOTLIGHT DANCE CUP COMPETITION, and STARQUEST COMPETITION. Sisters Dance Academy also participates in local events like the Sisters Rodeo Parade and prepares students for recitals at Sisters High School. With a Summer Session and a clear registration process via Jackrabbit, SDA is committed to year-round dance education and performance.
