Ballet technique for students of advanced and intermediate level. Schedule to come.

Students in our Pre-Professional Division receive high quality classical ballet training and performance opportunities. Students take between three and five classes a week consisting of ballet technique and pointe. Levels 4 - 6 class work focuses on articulation, placement, and the development of musicality and artistry while gradually introducing more advanced barre and center work. Evaluations for pointe work begin in Level 4. Dancers in Level 4 will be assessed for pointe no earlier than age 10 . Pre-Professional students will have the unique opportunity to work with guest artists and master teachers throughout the year. Pre-professional students meet for classes at least three days per week throughout the 34-week school year. Parents are invited to observe classes and track their student's progress at the end of each semester(2x per year) or upon request. Level placement is based on ability & experience rather than age. As a pre-professional ballet school, we place high importance on consistency of training. Students are expected to attend all classes. Students choosing to participate in performance opportunities will rehearse on weekends and some week nights outside of their regular class schedule. We do not rehearse during weekly classes to ensure that our students continue to learn, refine and progress in their technical abilities, artistic expression and musicality.

Students in the Primary Division receive high quality classical ballet training and performance opportunities. Students learn foundational ballet technique while exploring musicality in a structured class format. Levels 1 - 3 class work focuses on placement, posture, and coordination through repetition of exercises. Students will gradually be able to execute longer and more challenging class work as they progress through the levels. We recommend students spend at least one year in each level.

Preschool classes begin learning basic ballet vocabulary and age-appropriate stretches while exploring creative movement and rhythm within structured play. We recommend students spend at least one year in each level.

Beginning Ballet students are introduced to the ballet class format through foundational exercises at the barre and in center, while building strength and new skills through playful musical exercises. We recommend students spend at least one year in each level.

Students in the Intermediate Intensive will take a daily 1.5 hour ballet technique class followed by a 30-minute pre-pointe or Character class. After lunch, dancers will participate ina 30 minute seminar and two 45-minute classes of varying dance disciplines and conditioning. An informal showing will be held at the end of week 2 for family and friends. For students in WYB Levels 3 & 4 or of beginning and intermediate level.

Students in the Pre-Professional Intensive take a daily 1.5 - 2 hour ballet technique class followed by a 1-hour pointe, variation or repertoire class. After lunch, dancers will participate in two, 1-hour long classes of varying dance disciplines, conditioning classes, and seminars. An informal showing will be held at the end of week 4 for family and friends. For students in WYB Levels 4a through 6, or of advanced and intermediate level.

3-day camps for preschool and beginner students ages 3-7. These camps are the perfect introduction to classical ballet for young dancers! Budding ballerinas will take a 45 minute ballet class followed by a craft or activity that matches the theme of the week. For students with little to no dance experience.
