Dance With Kim

Teacher approval, Dance Team members and Seniors only. Private/Semi Private choreography is done during our 4 week summer session. In the fall private/ semi-private classes will be scheduled on an as-needed basis for review and clean up. NOTE: All students are required to seek approval from Ms. Kim or Ms. Brittany prior to registration.

A creative movement and music class for toddlers and their grown up. The class consists of 3 sections – ENGAGE, EXPLORE AND EXPRESS. The ENGAGE section is a playful exploration of music, nursery rhymes, and parachute fun. The EXPLORE section is set up as a circuit around the studio space with obstacles like stepping stones, tunnels and sensory activities designed to encourage investigation and build coordination skills.

This program is based on safe effective progressions with proven results in 5 divisions of Acro Dance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling. Simple thoughtful progressions take the beginner level dancer from log rolls to summersaults to the advanced dancer tumbling effortlessly across the stage. (You may register for this class as an addition to both Jazz and Ballet class only. Tumble Bunnies must be in either jazz or ballet. To add Acrobatic Arts to your registration you must call our business office or contact us by email .)

A 45 minute ballet class warms the body and must be taken in addition to the pointe class. Instructor Approval Required.

Our Future Stars program is designed for students who express a desire to dance and demonstrate a commitment to their dance education and training. These classes are for those who simply wish to dance for the sheer love of the art form. Our faculty is dedicated to enriching every dancer’s life with sincere encouragement and personal guidance to help you achieve your individual goals. The 45 minute classes meet once a week.

The Shooting Stars dance program offers a wide variety of dance styles. Students can choose from graceful Ballet classes to Hip Hop, Jazz or Tap classes. No matter what your level or experience, there is a special place for you here at Dance with Kim! Our dancers are challenged and inspired to learn the latest dance styles in a fun, nurturing and supportive atmosphere. The 45 minute classes meet once a week.

Our Rising Stars program is a dance adventure that involves movement skills, introductory dance steps, and combinations. The basic foundation of Ballet, Tap, Jazz or Hip Hop will be taught. The 45 minute classes meet once a week.

Our Shining Stars program is for our transitioning kindergarten students. These classes contain the basics of ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. The 30 minute classes meet once a week.

This creative movement class is designed for your youngest dancer, encouraging creativity and strength through dance. Coordination skills, rhythm, and musicality are introduced in fun dance games and activities. Our Ready Set Dance! curriculum includes Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop and Ballet. The classes are small to ensure individual attention is given with love, patience, and encouragement. The 30 minute classes meet once a week.

We offer a fun and encouraging environment with a variety of classes and levels to choose from.

Summer Camps at DWK Dance is fun all year round at DWK! Fill your summer with imagination and dance with our DWK themed camps. We are very excited to bring back some old favorites as well as some NEW camp themes too! Regardless of your age or skill level, there is a super fun camp for everyone! Space is limited.
