About The Conservatory Of Dance

The Conservatory of Dance, located in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, has been a vibrant hub for artistic expression for 19 seasons. Under the direction of Danielle M. Dorzinsky, who holds a Master's Degree in Dance Education, and Assistant Director Kaitlyn Smith, the studio welcomes aspiring dancers from ages 2 through adult. We offer a comprehensive dance education across a spectrum of disciplines, fostering a lifelong love for the art of dance and cultivating the mind, body, and spirit. Our meticulously offered classes include Classical Ballet, rooted in the Vaganova Method, alongside vibrant Jazz Dance, rhythmic Tap Dance, expressive Modern/Lyrical, foundational Acro, and energetic HipHop. We also provide nurturing Combo classes blending Ballet with Tap or Jazz, and Musical Theatre classes that fuse Broadway-style dancing with performance skills. Special programs cater to Toddlers in Tutus and acknowledge the importance of Special Needs dance education, with private lessons available for personalized attention. Dedicated and qualified professionals mentor students, instilling discipline, fostering dedication, and guiding them in nurturing their bodies and souls. Throughout the dance season, students gain invaluable performance experience through showcases at the F.M. Kirby Center, including full productions of "The Nutcracker," and participate in notable parades such as the Miss America Parade, Wilkes Barre Christmas Parade, and the Mountain Top July 4th Parade. Summer performances at HersheyPark further enrich their journey.
