Independent contractor for Ballet faculty position to teach beginner, intermediate and advanced ballet classes to students ages 7 to 18 utilizing HDAT’s developmental curriculum and cultural aesthetics.

Independent contractor for Pianist to accompany Ballet faculty teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced Ballet classes to students ages 7 to 18. utilizing HDAT’s developmental curriculum and cultural aesthetics. This position reports to the Associate Artistic Director.

Pre-Academy for dancers ages 7 and up levels are determined by the placement of students based on their proficiency in ballet.

Meets 12 Hours/week from September to April. The tuition for the year is $1,600, and there is a $100 registration fee.

Meets 2 Hours/week from September to April. The total cost for the year is $960, with an additional $100 registration fee required.

Meets 1 Hour/week. This class is tuition based and requires payment at the time of registration. It consists of 12 classes in total.

The Fall Season of our Dance Starts Here program runs from September to December. This program consists of two groups: three-and four-year-olds and five-and six-year-olds. They take classes based on our RAM model. They will spend three weeks on a specific technique and instructor before moving to the next discipline.

These intensives are for students with a true passion for dance but cannot commit to a complete six-week Program. Each intensive is designed around a specific genre of Dance. The morning sessions consist of classes in Ballet, Horton, or Jazz, while in the afternoon sessions, participants will learn rep and other techniques to help strengthen their dance aptitude.

For students who have a serious passion for dance, the Spirit, Mind, and Body Summer Intensive offers a holistic approach to the discipline of Dance. The program provides training in various dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, and more. It also includes leadership and discipline classes and a range of electives in photography, costuming, and make-up design, to name a few. The Spirit, Mind, and Body Summer Intensive is designed to nurture not only the body but also the spirit and mind and is designed for students who want to improve their technique and artistry.

Hill Dance Academy Theatre’s Dance Starts Here Summer Intensive program is designed for students ages five to seven. Our program focuses on engaging children with creative play, dance, and holistic activities to ensure they are well-prepared for the upcoming school year. This six-week intensive includes Ballet, Tap, Drumming, Visual Arts, Cooking, Sewing, reading, and much more to invigorate their minds and bodies.

The Summer Season of our Dance Starts Here program is a six-week Intensive designed for five-and six-year-olds. It runs from June to August. Students are immersed in activities the feed the Spirit, Mind, and Body. The Dance Starts Here Summer Intensive is more than dance as we offer classes in Science, Language, Art, Music, Dance, and so much more.
